As I was reading the pre-draft quotes from GM Geoff Petrie and he said the Anthony Peeler had told the Kings that he was not using the player option in his contract and will become a free agent on July 1. How do you guys feel about this? Who do you think that the Kings will try and get to replace him?
I think he may come back to the kings just looking for a little more $$$. Because he isnt a premeir player on defense or offense he is a hard nosed player. Would probable be signed by another team, but not a title contending one. He is not a player with alot of teams jumping at a chance to get him.
Peeler wasn't that great of player,but if he stays,great,if not oh well...I Think we can get along with or without him
^That's how I feel as well. I'm interested to see who the Kings will take though, to replace Peeler. Even though, Bobby is healthy now.
He made a good back up PG.. defense was usually pretty good but his shooting was pretty streaky...they could probably pick up someone as good or better in free agency if they decide not to try to resign him.
