anyone getting these or have these already?...they look really sweet, I'm probably gonna get them today or tomorrow. The blue/white/silver ones look the best IMO so I'm probably going to go with those.

the price is kinda steep (CDN $169) but I guess I can afford it since I just got a new job today so I'll be working 2 jobs now.

Those shoes are hot, but I don't think I would buy them because of the high price. I also like that style (blue/white/silver). BTW, Good luck with your new job, keep racking in the money [IMG].

thanks...i will...the store specializes in outdoor stuff like skiing/hiking/running...

I can get stuff 40% off cost, so when winter rolls around I can get a $500 North Face jacket for like $100...pretty sweet

I work as a maid kinda person [IMG]. I mow the lawn and clean this old lady's house.

Gah, 25$ a shot is alright tho. It only takes me an hour and a half.

that's not bad..that's a pretty decent wage...you make more money than I do

but then again I work at Tip Top Tailers in a mall where no one goes to, so a lot of times I'm just standing around doing nothing

Nice pick, I love cross-trainer shox. I mainly buy basketball shoes, but sometimes this summer I'm gonna grab some of those. I like the Shox Turbo White/Red

    Cross-Trainers...

It's been a long time since I had a pair, the last ones I had were Jordan TRunners last January. But I hate the shox technology in running shoes. How are they supposed to help if you're not going to jump up and down?

They don't make you jump higher, its called impact protection. It absorbs more force when your foot is on the ground more than regular shoes. Its simply on the heel because your heel hits first when running, it absorbs that impact for a smooth transition to the forefoot.

Ah I see. It works like the Shocks on bikes then. But aren't Shox shoes used to help your vertical in basketball?

Nope, 100% wrong. If you look at most shox basketball shoes, you'll see the shox is at the heel. Ask yourself, how many people jump from there heels. Nobody, unless they're freaks, people jump from the toes, so its basically impossible (if you jump from your toes) for the shox to help you jump higher.

Ooooooooh. What about the VCII's and III's that have Shox throughout the shoe?

Just for impact protection throughout the shoe. The VC series is made with harder shox that barely even move, so I doubt they spring. My knowledge of the shox is all about impact absorbtion.

Oh, that added to my knowledge about the Shox. I always thought they helped you jump higher.

As did I, thanks for the info Franchise. Now I have proof that this asshole at my school isn't jumping higher because of his shoes!

Then what was with all of those commercials when Vince jumper over Gary Paytons head? Talk about your false advertising.
