Am I the only person that is lacking tolerence for these guys? I mean Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Cris Collinsworth especially, but still the others aren't that great too. Dick Stockton, Daryl Johnston, Kenny Albert, Brian Baldinger, Sam Rosen, Bill Maas, Curt Menefee, Tim Green, Ron Pitts, and Tim Ryan are the others. Seriously though, they tend not to call the game and just talk about stupid and pointless facts. Plus they always through their dumbass opinions like they were ever coaches. For instance, today during the Eagles game, they NEVER shut up about KGB in the first half, and no lie 4 minutes into the third they were saying Andy Reid was dumb for not taking out the starters, and for passing the ball. Look, it was a bit much, but jesus christ they are a passing offense. Running it up the middle with Westbrook three times is gonna be pointless. McNabb started the day off with 14 straight completions, so why not keep throwing? They're also saying that Koy Detmer needs some "experience." Ok retards, he's played 4 times already this year, not much but enough for a backup. Plus the guys been in the NFL for 8 years, and has started 7 games. This kind of crap has been pissing me off all year, especially since most Philly games are on FOX. I'm kind of just rambling here, but can anyone else honestly say the FOX announcers do a good job? Give me your opinions
Normally I like Aikman, Collinsworth and Buck as announcers. Today, however, they were "off," to say the least. Then again, because of how lopsided the game was, you can hardly blame them. I'm sure they were just plain bored.
Yea, but they repeated over and over how both teams should take there starters out. They did it almost a full Quarter. Then when McNabb and Westbrook came out on the field at the end of 3 they nearly had a fucking heart attack!!!! that was aggrevating as shit!
This sux! GB is scoring against my Fantasy DEF. And someone needs to tell collinsworth to Shut the fuck up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I understand the point that they were trying to get across but they were almost a full quarter off. In no way was Philly trying to "salt the wounds". I defended this group of commentators in the past but they royally pissed me off. On Monday, I'll hear how Philly was running up the score when the really weren't. FOX get's an "F" today.
The only announcer that I tend to like is Joe Buck. Modern announcers, however, are just plain horrible.
I can't stand any of them. It was kind of good fortune yesterday, actually. The sound for some reason was out during th Bears-Vikes, so I listened to the radio broadcast. Much better.
still i wantd to see them run it up pretty much. 2 teams with 50 points in one week would be pretty cool to see
Nah, Andy Reid isn't that kind of coach. GB was much better at defending the run the past few weeks, but not the pass. Plus like I said, McNabb was 32-43, and had 14 straight completions. When your having that kind of success with the pass, why not run the clock out that way? Although I think McNabb was being a bit greedy throwing it deep, there were short routes he could've thrown to as well.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>You don't think Philly was trying to run up the score? I think they were...</div> Honestly, no. I think they could have pulled McNabb out a series or two earlier but Reid doesn't try to make enemies. By no means am I trying to rub this in but I think at that state of the game, if Philly wanted more they could have probably gotten it.
Kevin Harlan is the one announcer I really can't stand. All he does is yell & then is even more repeitive than most. I've said before that the brightest bulbs in the pack do not go into announcing. Tim Green (who has a law degree & is a decent author) is the exception & ironically is my favorite Color Analyst

Give me your opinions</div> I did notice that aikman and collinsworth would not shut up about mcnabb being in the game. Course we dont hear that as manning is chalking up points on the scoreboard. Then again they dont do many afc games. I was totally getting annoyed tho so i can agree. I much rather hear summerall blabber a game drunk or even weaz... thiesman talk football. lol.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bucs40etrain)</div><div class='quotemain'>Course we dont hear that as manning is chalking up points on the scoreboard. Of all the Fox announcers, I think Buck, Stockton, and Johnston are the least distracting to listen to.
