Shaun Livingston has success written all over him he can do it all, pass, score and rebound + he has a 6'11" wingspan. He's all but a downside, I think he will be a Magic Johnson type player Im not saying MAGIC JOHNSON GOOD but he will play like Magic did.

Exciting player if anyone besides the clippers. I think the clippers should have picked harris. Livingston will take years to develope possible wont be in a clippers uniform when he is developed. While harris is already a good point guard and is developed. He could contribute right away. We will have to see how this works out.

I think Livngston is good, he'll start of slow, but in the second half of the year he'll play about 24 minutes a game.
He'll put up something like 7.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.2 steals in those minutes, and next year he'll be starting and playing about 28 minutes or maybe even more.

I like the Clippers getting him a lot, and I'm actually one of the few who think he can contribute right away. Although I think at times he will have trouble on the defensive end, I think his offensive game will be there right from the start. He is young and can really run the floor, and I think there's no team better to start with than the Clippers for that. They have very athletic players on their roster and he can get comfortable with the team very fast. Although I've had my thoughts about taking Harris instead, I believe he will actually be the best rookie PG this season. The Clippers are very weak at the PG spot, and although they've been playing Jaric at the spot for a while now I think they'll be giving Livingston 32-35 MPG right off the bat. I'm excited about next year's Clipper lineup, even if they don't get Kobe. If we can resign Q and Simmons, I like our chances for a winning season.. for a change.

This is a team that'll be scary in the future, young, great, full of hope, dreams and potential. Plus virtually apart from the PG, your positions are filled with great players. You're team will be even more imposing once Kaman breaks out, a PG is the best idea, a good player running the floor is what you're shy of becoming a truly awesome team.

    We just need a SG,

    PG: Livingston/Jaric/House
    SG:??? /Jaric/Hopefully Barnes
    SF: Maggette/Hopefully Simmons
    PF: Brand/Wilcox
    C: Kaman/Ely

I wish Wilcox had range and was quicker and could play SF lol, then we could move Maggette to the 2 and have him at the 3 [IMG]

Although it depends on how much we can get him for, I'd really like to see Q back. I probably wouldn't match any offers more than 7 million a year, if it's anything in that range I'd really like to see him back. He's had his problems on defense, but if he works on his defense he will only get better. He did have a poor shooting % (40%) but when he was healthy he was actually shooting well. Adding a player like Livingston should make it easier for Maggette and Richardson to run the floor, and I really hope we get to see those three run together. Hopefully it'll be:

PG: Shaun Livingston / Marko Jaric
SG: Quetin Richardson / Bobby Simmons / Marko Jaric
SF: Corey Maggette / Bobby Simmons
PF: Elton Brand / Chris Wilcox
C: Chris Kaman / Chris Wilcox / Melvin Ely

Come on now Sterling, forget Kobe, all you have to do is keep this team together!! Their defense is only improving and they're all very mature players, and I love their future as a team.

I don't think they have officially released any statement about that, but I doubt it'll come until pre-season time. If there's one thing I've noticed in the last few years, it's that the Clippers are pretty slow at making things happen. Besides, I don't think they'll be in a rush to sell Livingston jerseys because he still isn't well-known to the public.

Well actually if you really want a Livingston jersey that bad and don't want to wait, you can always order a personalized replica jersey that has Livingston's name on it.

I can't help but think that this was a bad pick...I would've liked the Clipps to draft someone who can contribute right away...Livingston is 2-3 years away IMO, and the rebuilding period has to end sometime!

But would you really pass up this kid? He has a bright future and could end up being the best prospect of the draft down the road
