We didn't get Ben Gordon like I hoped but I like Andre Iguodala too,I hope Billy King won't screw anything up now.

HaHa, that's what I've always wanted to have as a 76ers fan. Bilas ranked him 4th best overall player in the whole draft, wow. He is by far the best athlete in the draft, just look at him, he is all jacked up. I highly agree with this pick, he will fit in nicely.

Finally a dunker. We sure picked him because of his arial attributes.

The good part about it is that he is an exceptional athlete, he can complement Allen very much in terms of opening space for him down low because of his size. Can also dish the ball pretty well for a guy his size. I am very happy with this selection, as he can mature into a great defensive player, and can work on his shot some more.

I love this pick. He's could dunk the ball, he can defend multiple positions and he's capable of a triple double. And he already has his mind set on assisting Allen Iverson. So I'm excited to see how does next season. So far, things are looking good for next season. We get a new coach and a versatile DEFENSIVE SF.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LIKELY DRAFT POSITION: Iguodala's impressive outside shooting displays in workouts have greatly enhanced his stock. He's receiving more serious looks from teams such as Chicago (3) and Charlotte (4), whom were originally believed to have favored Luol Deng. Even if Deng still bumps him out of either one of those picks, Atlanta (6), Philadelphia (9) and Cleveland (10) are all in the market for swingmen.

COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: Scottie Pippen, Ron Harper

    COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: Alvin Robertson

ROLE PROJECTION: Spot starter. Future All-Star.

POSITIVES: Iguodala is a triple-double threat in the making. He is an outstanding passer with the ability to create looks for his teammates; a prolific rebounder despite standing just 6-6; and a world-class athlete who uses his speed, agility and leaping skills to score going to the basket. Furthermore, Iguodala is an awesome defender who can contain even the best offensive talents. It is not hard to understand why general managers are drooling over the former Wildcat.</div>

Andre Iguodala can do everything but score and he said himself he would love to go to Philly to complement Iversons skills. I can see this now, "Iverson throws a lob to Iguodala and he throws down a electrifying dunk!!!!!!!!!!" Man this is gonna be an awesome team.

That's what the Magic, Sixers and Celtics lack. A defensive and rebounding presence, so this is a very good thing for you, you're very lucky. I especially like the fact that this guy has so much potential to be one hell of a superstar, especially since you have another one as well, Dalembert.

Looks like the Sixers may end up also becoming a young, full of potential team in the near future. The best thing is that you got someone who fits your needs, he's pretty strong also, now all you need is size seeing as you mostly only have that in Dalembert.

yup yup I was sitting there laughing my butt off after the Raptors took there pic. An thinking there pics wife was not that good looking. Then I was like please don't mess this up and take Iguodala. Fingers crossed as they come up with the pic. An the pic Iguodala i'm like thank god [IMG]. Iverson Iguodala and Dalembert an Thomas not bad if u ask me. Now either we need a PG or SF depending on where they place Iguodala. Prolly a PG because I expect him to be our 3 for a long time [IMG]

The Sixers almost delt Bigg Dogg and the nine pick to the Wiz for Stack and the eleventh pick,I am really glad we didnt do that.I think Iguodala should play 3 and we can maybe deal Glenn Robinson to another team or he can come off the bench.

    Potential line up:C-Samuel Dalembert
    PF-Kenny Thomas
    SF-Andre Iguodala
    SG-AI
    PG-Eric Snow
I think that is a very solid lineup, and a really good defensive lineup that could shut teams down.

Eric Snow-A good on the ball defender
    AI-Steals
    Iguodala-Good on the ball defender
    Kenny Thomas-Not a bad defender
    Sammy D-Rejections.

It's a good thing that King decided not to do so. I have nothing against Jerry Stackhouse but I think he's overrated and I just don't like this game not one bit. The guy is 6'6 and shouldn't be grabbing just 3 boards for his career.

Speaking of trades, during the Draft David Aldridge reported that the Pacers were looking to move up the Draft to get Luke Jackson. They spoke to numerous teams, and the Sixers being one of them. It was said that they were rumored to trade Al Harrington and their Draft Pick in exchange for the Sixers #9 Pick. So we actually had a chance to get Harrington. [IMG]

Stackhouse is gotta be one of the worst SG's I've ever seen, he gets to the line but the guy really can't shoot, can't step up to the ocassion, ever, is a horrible defender, can't rebound and is 6'6, per minute he beats Iverson by like 0.1 rebounds in his career and Iverson is 6 inches shorter [IMG]

Anyways, Iggy is a great pick, he'll become one good player for the team, he's not going to be scoring anytime soon and doesn't need to, but in the future it will come, and he alreayd has everything else, defense, rebounding, passing, ball handling, great pick.

Yeah and he is really the only real triple double threat on the team right now.

It's about time someone agreed with me. I've come across people who actually said that Jerry Stackhouse is underated and is among the NBA Top 5 SG's.
