Now he wants to be a King? Didn't he call them Queens all before? If he goes to Sac-town, I am going to be no longer a fan, never ever. Please don't do it. The staring 5 are perfect, they just need a better bench. Don't do it.
A better bench didnt help them when they had the best bench in the league. O'neal, would help get them over the hump, shore up the low post game which is not bad, but could be better, give them a much needed kick in the butt when the game starts doing its usual 4th quarter slip-away....

well....you are correct with the idea that there is little chance of it happening. but I think there is a better chance of the Kings making a deal then Dallas. (the Lakers want Dirk and Dallas just aint gonna give him up) as for the fans, the buzz on the radio shows is that they are pretty much all for it. And those against it? they will change their minds quickly.

Shaq in Kings will win htem a championship just keep bibby and peja. Send peopel like Christie,Divac,Miller,Webber over.
here is some print media reporting that O'neal did in fact publicly say that he "wouldnt mind" playing in sac. (oops... forgot the linkage..sorry) http://www.sacbee.com/content/sports/story...-10727134c.html imagine this:
This is just unbelieveable for Kings fans to believe this garbage. For one, we already know about this man's character. He once talks trash about this rival franchise and yet he talks out of his ass to say he wants to play for the Queens? It's all a way to get under the Laker organization's skin, especially one he likes to nag the most, Mitch Kupchak. Secondly, Shaq doesn't pick where he wants to go, we have the right of way to do so. He's still under contract with us, and we decide his whereabouts whether it be Dallas or wherever. And finally, if any team including Sacramento really wants Shaquille O'Neal, you better give value in return and I remember hearing some Queen fan saying Webber and Divac for Shaq? What a slap in the face to the proud Laker organization. More like Bibby, Stojakovic, or Miller for Shaq. If we lose a big piece of our offense, you also must lose a huge part of your offense. It's all fair business. But I am pretty sure Shaq is going to Dallas. And I'm sure we'll all hear the official news by this week in which, in my opinion, the Lakers will receive Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitski.

I already posted this over in the lakers forum, but thought it would be appropriate in this thread too O'neal on his future in LA: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/bask...dges/index.html
