The Bulls had a great draft this year, and I think they won't be a bad team next year, with potential to be very good. The Bulls right now are set as a team for the future; they just have to be smart and not take this core apart. C- Eddy Curry, PF- Chandler, SF- Deng, SG- Gordon, PG- Hinrich.
They have pretty much what every team needs- an low-post scorer in Curry, a rebounder/shot-blocking presence in Chandler, an all-around player in Deng, a perimeter scorer in Gordon, and a smart point guard/passer in Hinrich. They also have some good players off the bench like Duhon and Robinson. Granted, this team might not do that well immediately given the youth of their players, but given time, this will be a great lineup. Oh yeah, I assumed that they let Crawford go as a free agent, which they should do. A lot of people don't think that Gordon should be a SG because he's small, but he has the abilities to be a great scorer in this league. On defense, he can guard the PG while Hinrich takes the other team's SG. These are just my thoughts, what do Bulls fans think?

that's the only thing chandler is, a shot blocking "presence," he doesn't actually do it, he just is a threat to and looks like he might. he has terrible hands, he gets it stripped when he gets the rebound, he loses it while trying to post up, no moves, plays like he is uncoordinated...other than that, he is a phenomenal player.

    C- Eddy Curry
    PF- Tyson Chandler
    SF- Luol Deng
    SG- Ben Gordon
    PG- Kirk Hinrich

Thats assuming JC leaves. If JC stays, bet hes starting and Gordon comes off the bench with a 3 guard rotation where each guard gets approx. 30 minutes. Ben's got it all except the size but NBA.com's profile of him says he plays bigger than he actually is, so if its true hes a complete package. Luol Deng was knocked for his athleticism, but I also hear ppl say he isn't given enough credit for his athleticism. We filled our hole at SF while getting Ben Gordon who could become ROY. Seriously, Pax picked Hinrich last year and he was great. Pax got us 2 draft picks this year and got Gordon and Deng. So far, he's doing a great job and he probably knows a lot more then we do. I'd relax and wait for the beginning of the season [IMG]

I'm saying the same. I just don't find Chandler as a starter but as more of a bench player. I like the idea of the three guards, each are versatile enough to play both the point and shooting guard spots. However, I'm hoping they can pick up a great PF in the off season or trade for one, who would you all say is the most valuable available PF on the market right now?

I think Ben Gordon is too small to play the 2 guard.

They should take him, I've been friends with Quentin before he was even drafted to the NBA. I met him through his cousin who lives a block down from here, they're really cool.

i think that line up is too young and
will have the youngest start'n five in the NBA
i dont think Jamal is going anywhere and the
JPAX will go with the Vet's and keep the potental
on the bench just like the Bulls do every year.

also QRich should come to CHI who cares if his cousin does live
    down the street [IMG]

His cousin doesn't matter, it'd just be good to have a friend back in town playing for the home team. Man, you're not even from Chicago, lol.

What's this talk about Gordon being to small to play SG ? he is 6-3 200 pounds on the bulls site. Allen Iverson 6-0 165 pounds. He has been doing it for 8 years. There is no reason Gordon can't. And if he doesn't it won't be because of size.

Exactly, been saying that ever since the Bulls picked up Gordon. Why is it that a guy who can shoot extremely well cannot not be a shooting guard? I'm not sure how anyone thinks this.

Plus u have two points allready unless u want to count Craw as a SG also. Not sure or up to date on how your guys roster is. But u can allways send Craw to Philly [IMG]

If we send him to Philly, they would need to cough up a good Power Forward.

DaAnswer3, that ain't right and you know what I mean. A stud? (hahahahaha) Ok, we'll give you Little-Dog and Snow for Crawford and Chandler?

As for Gordon, he will be fine at the 2 guard. Look at AI he is more than 3 inches taller than him. (AI is smaller than listed, I bumped into to him at a club and he is probably 5'10-11)

Even the Celtics Raptors or Knicks. I think it would be great to see him on the Raptors bench.
