Weight: 192 pounds. College: Gonzaga. DOB: Feb. 4, 1982. Scouting report: Enjoyed productive four-year career at Gonzaga. Averaged 14.6 points and 6.7 assists in senior season, earning West Coast Conference player of the year honors. Floor general who has ability to run both up-tempo and half-court offense. Good passer with high basketball IQ that helps him compensate for lack of athleticism. Must cut down on turnovers to be effective at the NBA level. Averaged three turnovers per game as a senior. Lack of foot speed gives him trouble beating players off the dribble and hampers his defense. Good on-the-ball defenders can take away his dribble penetration. Fluid jump shooter with unlimited range, though can be streaky at times and has slow release. I think he is a steal and should be a good back up PG next year, I just hope Flip and co. see it that way
yeh they got a steal...a solid leader who can shoot and pass the ball with the best of em...he'd make a good third-string PG who can help consistently once Cassell leaves, or maybe he can even be a solid backup, who knows...
