do you think theres a possibility of the wiz to try to go and get kenyon martin. we did clear stack and lattener salarys so we must be wanting to do something. if we could pull off getting him we wuld defiently be in the playoffs. check it out:

    PG-Gilbert Arenas Steve Blake(Juan Dixon)
SG-Larry Hughes Juan Dixon (Jarvis Hayes)
    SF-Antwan Jamison Jarvis Hayes(Jarred Jeffries)
PF-Kenyon Martin [IMG] Etan Thomas(if we still have him)(Jarred Jeffries)
    C--Kwame Brown Brennan Haywood(John Ramos)

If we dont go after someone such as kenyon martin who might we go after [IMG]

what about antonio mcdyess? he is a free agent..or darius miles..hes a restricted FA. also marcus camby can opt out..he would fit lovely at center with kwame at PF.

this could be interestin in what wiz does

Antonio McDyess would be good to return to the Suns, for his minutes his numbers are actually pretty good.

I don't know about Kmart, he wants a max deal and I'm not willing ot give him that with Kwame on the team.

A max deal is about a 7 year 100+ million dollar contract, I'm not willing for us to spend that on Kenyon at all especially with Kwame in the house.

oh alright i see. well i doubt anyone will give him thst besides maybe nets.

well, do you think the wiz will try to go after one more proven player to "secure" a much needed playoff apperance. all i think we need is a defensive center or PF(then move kwame to center) any names out there u can think of?

Brian Skinner is a possbility, what we need, a veteran SG, another big man C and maybe PF also, and that's about all.

    PG: Arenas/ Blake
    SG: Hughes/ Dixon/ Veteran
    SF: Jamison/ Hayes
    PF: Kwame/ Jefferies
    C: Haywood/ Skinner? - Etan? - another player?/ Peter John Ramos

i honestly think we need a big name...someone who can give u numbers or guranteed defence. rubben paterson culd be the nice veteran sg. but in order for the wizards to make the playoffs i wuld like to see them get kmart, mcdyess, camby,or miles...or trade for theo ratliff. we still culd make the play offs with the squad we have now..but kwame wuld have to post good numbers and haywood step it up.

i cant wait for it to start tho...its like the warriors team all over again...

    ay...dampier is a FA....hmmm be nice

wiz fan we do not need a big name. big names usually mean trouble in the locker room. i noe k-mart may not be trouble. i want him but we cant get him bcause the max we will be able to offer him is 6.6 million dollars thru exceptions. we should take a real good look at bruce bowen. he is 33. altho it is not good to hav a raider like team we need at least 1 truly old guy for true veteran leadership. i am not sure if we hav an over 30 guy on our team bsides butler. but i think bowen for one is a real leader. he does so many things for his team. he is the best man-to-man defender in the nba, he leads his team thru example and work ethic, he knows his role and performs it well, he doesnt go complain to the media, he has won a championship, he wont take shots away from jamison arenas and hughes, etc. according to the over-36 rule if we sign him to a contract now that takes him past 36 and if he retires when he is 37 or something then he gets the money from the remaining years but i think that money is counted on previous years so it wont impact the salary cap for the season he retires. i would be willing to offer bowen a 4-year deal that encompasses most of our exception money or even all of it. players like bowen are worth their weight in gold. if we sign bowen, we could move jamison to PF (where we will get a 20 ppg scorer in the paint that teams will hav to respect opening up shots for our guards) and kwame to C (where he can use his quickness to his advantage against suckas like jason collins; he will need to toughen up tho). I would love a starting lineup of Arenas, Hughes, Bowen, Jamison, Kwame. You guys agree that is a playoff team?
