With Gerald Wallace getting picked in the expansion draft and the Keon Clark trade that sent his 5.4 million dollar to Utah for a second round pick leaves the kings with a 6.4 millions dollar trade exception, which is due by the end of August 4 because it only works for one year after the player had been traded... EX: Peja could be traded straight up for Tmac because of the 6.4 million exception. (NEver happen but the money works with the exception) What do you think Petrie has up his sleeve?

How about trading Peja and Bobby Jackson for Rashard Lewis and Ron Artest. Not all in the same package, but you get the idea. Peja and Lewis have similar contracts, and Indiana is shopping around and has already shown that they are willing to ship Artest or even Al Harrington out in order to shake up their lineup.
Also, what about free agency. Available: Stephen Jackson Bob Sura Erik Williams Rodney Rogers John Barry Marcus Camby Nick Van Exel Karl Malone Keon Clark Bruce Bowen Brent Barry Can try and strengthen the bench so that injuries late in the season (as they always happen), won't hurt as much as they have in the past (i.e. Peja, C-Webb, Jackson)
I wouldn't trade Gerald Wallace for Lewis. He is as inconsistent as it gets. He's not a good shooter, can't create for himself, and doesn't even post up and he's like 6-10. Also, I wouldn't trade Peja or Bobby Jackson at all. I'd trade anybody else on the team, not them two. But, I would LOVE to get Ron Artest on our team. That would be sweet!

A defender and he can score too.
I might trade Stojakovic for artest. but unless i am getting some solid defense and there are no question marks as to what im getting in return, i dont think i would trade Stojakovic at this time. I would only trade Jackson if i was getting a step up and untill i see how he does this next season along with the 2 gaurds they just got in the draft, i dont really think i would want to get rid of Jackson either.
You have to make changes. Peja has to go. He is so consistent during the season but he always goes cold during the post season. Now that the back court is overloaded, Bobby Jackson is the only player who will get you anything in return. Christie is past his prime and doing more than expected. Getting a young, defensive orientated slashing swingman player like an Artest (Indiana) or Lewis (seattle) will take the pressure off C-Webb and allow him to stand on the perimeter and shoot jumpers all season. Miller should get the starting center position and can crash the boards with Artest or Lewis all game long. The bench can easily be strengthened by finding hustle guys, either young or starting to see the end of their careers like Brent Barry, Marcus Camby,Stephen Jackson, Bob Sura, Marcus Fizer (if not signed by the Bobcats), Slava Medvedenko, and Antonio McDyess.
