<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Eagles4Life)</div><div class='quotemain'>Here's the main reason why I would not vote for Manning. Let me take you back to the first game of the season, on a thursday night. It was Colts-Patriots, rematch of last years AFC championship game. As weird as it sounds, it was a MUST WIN for the Colts, cause they needed a bye in the playoffs. Manning in that game threw an INT in the redzone, and on the last play of the game he got sacked, taking the team out of the fieldgoal range, basically costing them the game. Now, I know Edge also fumbled the ball twice, but as far as MVP goes, you cannot lose that game for your team. If they had won that game, they would be 10-2 tied with the Pats now. And they would have the tie breaker to get the bye. That is why I would not vote for Manning, in big games he chokes it away. And with all due respect, that was a little bit bigger then the Eagles losing to the Steelers.</div>

    thats still only 1 game.
the way hes playing it, it doesnt matter who he plays, he tears up their D for 40 points.

My point is does it matter if have homefield if you are going to choke every year? The award is to the best player in the league, Manning, not Mcnabb. By your logic, roethlisberger should win the award since he navigated his team to homefield. Normally you would call this a tie, but he did lead his team to a blowout of the eagles(the most dominated any team has been this entire year by another team). Decide what is important

i think that Tom Brady is MVP last year and this year. I mean did you see the pass he completed while he was on his ass. come on, he may not have the numbers that the other two have but he manages the team very well and there is not one other person i would want to have as QB in a two minute drill when the game is on the line. it was great last year when he and his patriots beat the coMVP's last year in the play offs. and then he got his second supper bowl MVP. how sweet it was... speaking as a new englander of course.

Big Ben didnt do a bad job throwing to Jets secondary. I think the proof that anyone could Qb that team to a victory with thier defense and running game was proven when Bettis threw that TD, yep anyone could QB that team to victory (offer void in playoffs)
