also, this is going to be the 3rd consecutive year I've said this, but Cedric Bozeman will have a breakout year lol [IMG]</div>

Man, I was just looking back at this thread, and I just realized I was talking about Jarett Jack, not Chris Paul ...what the heck was I smoking that day, lol

Sean Paul as in the dancehall artist? I believe you meant to say Chris Paul.

In my opinion, the best point guard in college basketball next season will be Jerry Macnamara (Sp?).

Surprising that no one has mentioned John Gilchrist. He dominated the ACC Tourney, arguably outplaying Paul in the first game. I think he'll be better than Felton next year.

But I'm still going to have to give it to Paul with Gilchrist in second. He became God in the second half of the season and I think that him being the best PG in the country was already established at the end of last year.

What about Jarett Jack? Are we forgetting about him. Or is he not good... I don't watch as much college ball as I should. I will this year though...

What is actually wrong with Jack...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Iron Shiek:</div><div class="quote_post">Don't forget about Iowa State sophomore Curtis Stinson. He might be the most unheralded out of the bunch but he can definitely play.</div>

Yea, that kid was phenomenal last year for the 'Clones. Led em in scoring and assists. Not too mention he was the Big 12 Freshman of the year, their 2nd Freshman Of The Year in the last 4 years, with Jake Sullivan being the other. Yea, he was great and I expect great things once again from him. He did lose his backcourt running mate in Sullivan though so that could hurt. I think it's probably going to be Chris Paul or McNamara. They each had good years for their respective squads and will likley have good years again. And, a person I think who could be fantastic, not trying to be a homer or anything, but Jeff Horner. He's a fantastic player for Iowa. Great court general and a good shooter. Might not be the best point guard in the nation but he is very good. Last year was top 5 in the Big Ten in assists and assists to turnover ratio. I think he could have another good year this coming season. But, just an opinion. I know he's not one of the best in the nation but he is one of the better in the Big Ten I think.

No Darius Washington, won't he needs to become a better passer and decision maker, and I live in Maryland and watched every UMD game, I think John Gilchrist is good but not best PG in the country good.

    anyone I have ever seen.

Yes Chris Thomas, everyone is forgetting him, remember when he was projected to go in the mid first round two drafts ago? As of now, the only other NCAA point guard to go top 20 is Paul, maybe Macnamara, but hes not quite ready yet. Paul is probably even a top 7

No, I have not forgotten, he has just not had as good of a college career as I would have thought. He made a smart decision to return this season for his senior season. I had him last year predicted as 2nd team All-American but of course he didn't have that great of a season. Maybe this season will be his good one. We'll see.

To me, Chris Paul has a more, "I gotta win attitude." Last season, Wake Forest was playing a great game against Duke, at Duke. There was about a minute left or so and Skip Prossor took Paul out. Paul sat on the sideline, crying, because he wanted to win so bad. Now that's a player I want on my team. A player who wants nothing else than to get the win. Wake lost that game, but Paul had an outstanding game.

I think McNamara from Syracuse needs to be thrown in there as well. Great outside shot and a great pointguard for the Orangemen.

It's definately going to be Chris Paul, he showed so much poise last year with wake forest, he was the leader of that team and he was only a freshmen! I expect great things from him in the future, on the college and pro level.

    Watch out for Nate Robinson
