<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Houston a not-so perfect fit for T-Mac BY PETER KERASOTIS FLORIDA TODAY I feel sorry for Yao Ming. Now he has to play basketball with Tracy McGrady and a bunch of guys that T-Mac said weren't good enough. It sort of makes you chuckle, doesn't it? So long, Tracy. We hope you find whatever it is you're looking for but were so unwilling to work hard for. I apologize for dangling a participle in that last sentence, but not for enjoying the laugh-out-loud irony in all of this. And let's not forget that Tracy now gets to live and play the prime years of his career in beautiful Houston. </div> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Francis solves Orlando's glaring point guard problem and between him and Mobley, they'll more than make up for T-Mac's prodigious scoring output. Cato isn't the permanent answer at center, but he'll be the best the Magic have had in a while. Throw in a healthy Grant Hill, and I do think he'll be healthy, and you have a starting five of Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Grant Hill, Dwight Howard and Kelvin Cato. </div> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">But what does it tell you that this was the best the Magic could get for the league's scoring champion the past two seasons? There is a story from last season when the Magic were playing Cleveland and Tracy took a hard foul that knocked him to the ground. During a timeout, Magic coach Johnny Davis told his players he wanted retaliation; he wanted to see LeBron James knocked on his backside. It never happened. When told the story, Weisbrod responded, "That tells you what Tracy's teammates thought of him." </div> Full Story Great column! Couldn't agree more!
Greatest deal the the mgic could have done. Now if they can get together and play as a team that will be great. Also Cato will be a great center on the right team great fit for houston cause he came off the bench and played limited minutes. On Orlando he we thrive because of the conference and lack of real centers and pf/c he'll ge good to go
Ahaha The magic get a mini team in this trade.. They great rid of un-worthy starters in Howard and Lue.. Welcome in 3/5 of a team that got to the playoffs in the West.. Add that to what they have... or yeah.. And you have a serious playoff team in the East.. In this very bad division.. This trade is deffinatly benefit to Orlando.. Look at it now.. Houston is breaking up a great team they have.. I really don't want to go into my feelings of how good houston is going to be, and the problems they have now.. But lets just say we gave Houston all 4 of our problems.. Tyronn Lue starting, Juwan Howard taking up Young Guys Minutes, Reece Gaines being a bench rider, and T-Mac leaving us with 0.
Yea, and how much would it kill T-Mac if Hill came back healthy this year and avg. 15-5-5 per game? Oh, what could've been.
Hahahaha. I love the thing about Johnny Davis telling the players to knock LeBron on his back... I didn't know Mr. Smiley had that type of attitude... Weisbrod/Davis might be a nice, tough personnel combo that could lead us farther than Gabriel/Rivers could. This year we'll actually have a team
