It's getting to that time of year.... play off season and the big game, the Super Bowl.... and I'd like to know your thoughts My guess would be Philly and Pitts or Philly and New England
I'd say Patriots and Eagles in the SB. But I would love to replace either of those teams with the Falcons. Hey it could happen, probably not but its worth hoping for!
I would consider to the Falcons to be a major threat to go to the Super Bowl, they are likely to have the 2nd best record in their conferecne and that means a bye and home field until the NCF title game...
If everyone recalls, one of the expected from either conference does not make it. That being said, I think Minnesota & New England is a possibility.
Philly and depending on who gets home field advantage, Pitt or NE. I wouldn't count SD out at all either. Seriously though, I don't think anyone in the NFC can take down the Eagles except the Packers, and we all know what happened the last 2 times they met.

They did not say which teams would lose the NFC title game.

If the D just be average then I see no reason why Minny can't win the NFC. Mind you, it could also be Green Bay & San Diego.

Eagles vs Chargers. we need one cinderella. i think the chargers are the 2nd or 3rd best team right now. 1. steelers 2. eagles 3. chargers i also think theye the only team that can take out pitt.
I want to see a healthy Patriots team rematch against the Steelers. I want to see them play again, regardless of where, with both teams fully healthy. Indy's going to have a tough road through the playoffs. Odds are they're going to have to play either the Jets, the Ravens or the Broncos in the first round and THEN probably have to go to either Pittsburgh or to New England. Not pretty.
I would LOVE to see Eagles-Pats Superbowl. Two of the best teams of the last 5 years, it would be a great match up, and could be a great game. Eagles-Colts would be fun to, and was my prediction when the season started. But, since they dont have the homefield or a bye, they will have a tough time getting there. Most likely will have a second-round game in NE or Pitt, and I dont think they would win either one.
I'm for anyone but Philly. I think it would set karma and poetic justice back several millenia (not the car) if TO were to be "rewarded" for being on the winning team.
Honestly, nothing against the Eagles, but if you are going to pick an upset to make it, you have to pick against the Eagles and take someone from the NFC. Again, nothing against the Eagles, but it will be quite the Cinderella to go into both Pittsburgh and New England most likely and win. I have to continue to go with the Pats. However, if I'm picking against those two teams in the AFC, I'll take the Colts. In the NFC, I still think it has to be the Eagles. Minnesota will be dangerous if healthy (and they make it to the playoffs at all).
