Not something im happy about hearing. billionare owners fighting with multimillionare players to a point where it interferes with the game. And who really gets hurt? you and I.

I wonder where they would all be if their fan base just stopped going to games, stopped watching them on TV, stopped buying their hats & shirts and logo'd apperal that are outrageously priced to begin with. (none of that would ever happen mind you, but it would certainly make them sit up and take notice)

    Your thoughts?

I'm with you, I NEEDS MY NBA! I'll have to move to freakin Europe to get my
    bball fix.

I wish I had the source to this, but had heard reference to Cuban saying that
they should get rid of guaranteed contracts. I bet this is a big demand among
owners, but I'm speculating, I have no idea what the two sides are offering.

Removing guaranteed contracts would allow teams to cut non-performers just
like they do in the NFL. It opens up the free agent market to a certain extend,
any team can get under the cap, just cut a bunch of guys. The players would
all ask for large signing bonuses to offset the possibility that they won't live
out their contract. There will be far fewer Raef Lafrentzes. Just a thought.
