<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (PGHSteeler)</div><div class='quotemain'>And i still say Pitt and Philly. two cities in the same State, how great would that be. i'm tired of seein the PATs in the SB.</div>

ya I'm sick of seeing the pats in the Superbowl too! haha but seriously I just hope we beat INDY since thats who we should play and the Steelers can take care of the Chargers since I really don't see the Jets or Denver upsetting anyone but if that hot buffalo defense gets in they could really shake things up. But getting back on track I really want to go to Pittsburg and get revenge, plus I'd rather knock off the top team....it's more fun that way... for example see 2001. haha but man can we fast forward week 17...I can't wait for the playoffs.

The Colts have the ability to beat NE, and Pitts. As shown in the season opener, the colts obviously played like crap, and have something like 2 or 3 turn overs in the red zone. Since then there's been less than 10 for the colts offense. The Colts D in the past 7 weeks hasn't let more than 20pts.
So the colts are gonna have to just play like they've been playing in the past couple games, and manning will have to play well outside if it's cold. Other than that, i see the Colts going all the way.

Manning + Harrison + Wayne + Stokley + Edge = No.1 offense in the league

    Enough said!

I don't think there's been enough said here. One thing that amazes me about matchups is that how can even the most avid Colts fan not be worried about having to go into New England and / or Pittsburgh in January?

Fact one... The Colts already lost to the Pats once this season.

Fact two... The Colts could only score 20 points against a good Ravens defense in Indianapolis. How does that bode well for them in 20 degree or colder temps in New England or Pittsburgh?

Fact three... New England has only lost 2 games this year and the Steelers only 1.

Fact four... Pittsburgh has won it's last 7 games at home by no margin less than 9 points. And some of those opponents were Philly, New England, Baltimore, and the Jets.

I'm not going to sit here and spout off how the Steelers are going to beat anyone, blah, blah, blah.... but I do know that if I'm a Colts fan, I'm nervous about having to play New England or Pittsburgh on the road.

I'm sorry but I don't think the colts played like crap when we beat them earlier this year...they were just consistent. Turning the ball over in the redzone or key situations has become common practice for Peyton in New England over the last 3-4 seasons so when does it become opportunistic defense instead of crappy play?

And as for the colts defense you gave up 31 last week to San Diego the first good team you have played in 7 weeks. The six games before that Hou, Chi, Det, Ten (24 pts), Hou, Balt don't exactly strike fear into the hearts of men. Your defense has a long way to go to prove themselves IMO.

Here is a little fact for you SF if the colts were to meet the steelers in the AFC title game, Bill Cowher's record as #1 seed in AFC title game 0-3

Oh yeah, might as well throw on there that a Rookie QB has never started in a Super Bowl. No rookie QB has ever won their first 13 consecutive games. And the Steelers are 1 game shy of doing what only 5 teams have done since 1970 and that's have a record of 15-1 or better. Needless to say, 4 out of 5 of those teams won the Super Bowl that year. The one that didn't was Minnesota. The difference... defense. And Pittsburgh, last time I checked, has one that's a little above average.

They were a top 5 defense, and rushing team all three times they lost AFC title game as #1 seed. All of your facts were based n prior trends, so dont complain when mine is.

I am pulling for the current 3rd or 4th seeds in each conference -Packers or Seattle vs Colts or Chargers.

Honestly, I'll be fine as long as the donkeys & lambs (I mean broncos & rams (or do i)) dont make the playoffs.

You are lucky Patriots dont think that way, cuz that is the precursor to winning the AFC title game and losing the super bowl
