<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (J-E-T-S 1083)</div><div class='quotemain'>well everyone has gotta love the Jets but since u like Miami i'll give u a break anyway u have to focus on draft now not playoffs snicker snicker</div> Wow! A jets fan w/a sense of humor. I have experienced most everything now. I'm off to Las Vegas and wait for that incoming blizzard.
well it was a close game 3-3 tie going into the fourth quarter. The Jets really beat themselves way too many penalties that would have gotten them some scoring. Lamont Jordan had a 30 yards run and then they called the TE for holding bringing them back to the 50. next play interception. I have to give the Steelers a lot of credit some good playcalling won the game for them. But i think this proves how good the Jets defense is. They can stay in a game with just about anyone. Also Chad didnt look like himself throwing 3 interceptions i dont know what that is about. Anyway it was a great but disappointing game. hopefully we will see them in the playoffs and beat them where it really counts!!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (J-E-T-S 1083)</div><div class='quotemain'>Also Chad didnt look like himself throwing 3 interceptions</div> I can't be 100% certain but from the highlights (or lowlights as the case may be) but there was real strong resmblance to Jay Feidler
he really had such a bad game i mean the interceptions werent forced as much i mean one int he overthrew the WR by a long shot and the guy was open. but you cant compare Pennington to Fielder just had a bad game Pennington is capable of much better. As Lamont Jordan rants in the paper today the offense is struggling against good teams, plus i think the Jets should have put Lamont in to counter the Steelers punishing line i mean Martin wasnt effective so why not put Jordan in. IDK he just broke for a 30 yard gain and then i got called back by a holding penalty that wasnt even holding. OMG HACKETT IS SUCH A BAD COORDINATOR FIRE HIM
rematch time, as long as the Jets dont beat themselves into the ground they have a great chance to beat the Steelers its gonna be a great weekend
I'm rooting for the Jets, and I think they can do it. If there's gonna be any upset this week, this is it. I hope it's a great game
I wonder how this virus will affect Pennington. Regardless, this WILL be the best game this weekend. with Chad, Steelers 17 Jets 13. Without, Pitt 24 Jets 16

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BrianWestbrook)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'm rooting for the Jets, and I think they can do it. If there's gonna be any upset this week, this is it. I hope it's a great game</div> You've said a lot of things that don't make sense, but this one has to be dumbest of them all.... Upset #1 would be Indy in New England. If there will be any upset this week, this will be the one. Upset #2 would be the hot Rams in Atlanta. Atlanta doesn't do anything epecially well and the Rams throw the ball extremely well. I'm not so sure Atlanta will keep up. It's two dome teams playing in a dome. No big deal. Upset #3 would be Minnesota in Philly. Both teams may be without their star players (Owens & Moss). I like Burleson, Robinson, & Wiggins over Pinkston, Mitchess, and L.J. Smith. I would also give the nod to Culpepper over McNabb. But Minnesota is a dome team and Philly plays better defense than Green Bay does, so there will be no upset here.... Upset #4 would be the Jets over Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh beat them 1 month ago in Pittsburgh with Roethlisberger having his worst career day as a Steeler. And they still won! Pittsburgh is superior at every position and should win the game. Better defense, better running game, better special teams. The Jets would have to play a perfect game on the road against a superior team while Pittsburgh falls apart for this to be an upset. I realize I'm a Steeler fan, but as an NFL fan, I just don't see this finishing with the Jets winning. With Burress, Staley, Haggans, and Scott all back healthy, hell even Kendrell Bell is playing. I can't see Pittsburgh doing anything less than winning by 10.
How easily people forget that this is the same Steeler team that slammed Philly & New England in consecutive weeks.
i do think this will be a good game, but i dont think the jetsll win. maybe O/T, but thats as close as it gets
well the reason the Jets lost vs the Steelers because they really beat themselves. I mean 12 penalties in the first half THAT NEVER HAPPENS. They are 2nd in the league in fewest penalties. Also Pennington played like crap. If you look at the hightlights you can see he was really off he sometimes threw it so off i looked like he was really throwing at the Steelers defense. Heres why i think the Jets have a chance to win: Pennington came off one of him best games he played very well and dont tell me he has a stomach virus hes fine he praticed today and went through all the workouts. Last week the Jets stopped LT, he had 25 carries and 80 yards. So i think the Jets can match the Steelers with the run. And the run is the Steelers biggest weapon. They stopped it pretty good when it was 3-3 in the fourth. The Jets just screwed themselves up. NOW for the Steelers biggest weakness!!! Its the passing game they are 28th in the league in the passing game. Roethelisberger hasnt been doing that great and its the playoffs. Hes a rookie, playoffs are a different thing a rookie kicker screwed it up for the Chargers last week, its hard its the playoffs, lots of pressure and dont tell me Roethelisberger isnt feeling it. He will be. Can the Steelers use the passing game when they really need to get a drive going. I dont know. I think again the Jets have a great chance of winning this game if they just dont beat themselves. NO MISTAKES. If they do that they can win this game. Its basically on Pennington's shoulders (and fragile they are) but thats why its gonna be a great game. Just like last game except this time the Jets will do much better take my word for it.
I guess if I were a Jets fan, I would agree. But like I said before, the Jets have to play the perfect game and the Steelers will have to fall apart for the Jets to win.
