ok i have not put much blame on vinny this year...but its time for a reckoning...he had a horrible game, bad passes, not just the interception, but bad passes.

up and down defense...i dont need to say more than penalties...

so what do we do? throw in henson or romo? leave vinny? run 40+ times? i dont know? im so depressed... [IMG]

Its interesting that you mention Romo. Henson is the one supposed to be the next thing, but I'm keeping my eye on Romo. He impressed a lot of people in the preseason. He could get some playing time before the year is done too.

I hope they make the move to bench Vinny now. It will be interesting to see how things start working out for next year. I don't see a lot of interesting vets available unless for some stupid reason SD wants to move Brees.

With 2 #1 picks next year, a shot at a franchise QB will be tempting for Jerry too.

Expect the Cowboys to make a ridiculous offer to San Diego for Brees any day now.

San Diego has decided to keep both QBs so unless they offer two #1's which would give the chargers 4 . .

I don't consider the SD front office one of the smartest executive groups, so I would bet they hold out for both #1s.

However, IF Brees wasn't going to be my guy next year and IF I didn't want to keep him, I would obviously look at getting as much as I could for him. However, if only one first rounder was the best I could get, I'd much rather have a long-term 1st rounder that is going to play as opposed to a quality backup.
