i think the paper and pen was the best trade lol (j/k) i dont think i would trade him unless i get someone like shaq or kobe. some one who sells tickets and will come out and give u good stats.(they kobe and shaq thing is just like a comparision i dont actually mean them)
Why would you even consider trading Vince if he want's to play here (big if, at the moment). He is loved by the fans, if motivated is easily one of the top 5 players in the game, despite people saying that he lost his hops because he doesn't dunk as much, I remember one of the last games where he had a forehead at rim level dunk.

Pippen is a guy who back in the day did it effortlessley. I bought the new Bulls of the 90's 4 disc set and I saw some Pippen dunks and it was funny because it was so easy (and he overused the mini pump dunk). Amazing DVD set though 15 hours. If have a feeling that if VC stays hes gonna do something amazing this season. And if he leaves he might torch us for 52 points in our own arena.
I really don't think Vince is who he used to be (obviously) Not many teams would give much for Vince anymore, now that he's in decline. A couple years from now he'll be pretty much done. A young role player at the moment imo is worth more than VC at the moment... Ex. Manu Ginobli, Tayshaun Prince etc. (since they are young talented players who will be very good in the future)

Carter's ego? Since when does that happen. VC doesn't display much of wanting to have the ball all the time and takin it himself. For a shooting guard compared to Francis as a point, VC does a better job passing. If you've watched Raptor games last season you'd see that carter is a quality player, 22-5-5 is not a lost cause in my opinion. Some people still think that all he does is dunk. This is probably why he doesn't dunk anymore, because he doesn't want that label. Houston for Carter...please Houston is old, also injury prone probably more so than VC because Carter had a relatively healthy season and Houston is not a franchise player and contrary to popular opinion VC is. Magic fans and managment would love to see Francis and VC in a backcourt together, Raptor fans and managment would not like to see Mobley and Grant Hill monster contract on our team, that's why neither of those two will ever happen.

Not respecting someone as a player is just stupid, they all have made games and anyone who has a better game than you should defenitly be respected, if not as a person then as a player.
I didn't call Tayshaun garbage, I said what you saying Tayshaun is better/more valuable than him is garbage "saying garbage like Tayshaun Prince is better than him" I'm implying that the garbage is saying Tayshaun is better than him not that Tayshaun is garbage. Also yes, I'm blinded by thinking Carter is all powerful yet in the thread I've probably shut down most of the trades saying that's way too much for Carter, but I still think he's all powerful, wow, go back and read the posts please. Sorry I meant you said he'll be a much more valuable player and be better than Carter, and you keep thinking that Tayshaun is more valuable, just every GM in the league won't, maybe you should go ask everyone else on the board and see what they think.
I for one will say that Tayshaun is not as valuable as VC, although good he doesn't have that much of an upside (he needs to put on tons of weight) and he hasn't gained much weight, which leads me to believe he doesn't have that great a work ethic. Compare him to a guy like CB4 who came into the leauge skinny and Bosh has ten times the work ethic, bosh looked like he grew every game. And this is why the Raps don't want a guy like Tayshaun for Carter who "could" become a star in the future because they won't have any stars at the moment becuase they have Bosh who "will" become an all-star.
VC still has a lot of value, if at least not as a player, then as a marketing draw .... If I were Toronto, I would make sure I get a big name in return...
Ok, I never said that trade should happen, it branched off from me saying it was a bad trade. Someone said that Hamilton and Prince woud be a good trade. I happen to think that togther they have a lot more value than Carter. I twould be ridiculous to trade Prince for Carter, and I never said it would be good. Prince isnt on the smae level as Carter at all obviously. I didnt mean for this to be a comparison of Tayshaun and Carter, its just my personal opinion that he may be a more valuable player in years to come. Hes more valuable in that fcat. And I mean hes "More Valuable" Not "More Valuable than Carter". I think it's harsh to say the guy has no work ethic just because hes skinny. He sure puts on effort out on the court. That's all I have to say.
