I wanted to make this thread to talk about Eric Snow the Sixers current PG.A lot of people give Eric Snow a lot of flak.

Eric Snow has been with the Sixers for a long time and I dont ever remember him complaining about anything or him causing any issues.

He plays solid D all the time and usally guards the oppenets best player and usally does an ok job,he has not a problem of giving the ball up to AI,he usally hits the mid range J with consistancy, and belive it or not he has hit some clutch shots in the past few years, this year when the AI/Big Dogg-Less Sixers played the Hawks Eric hit a J to put us ahead of the Hawks and to eventually win the game, last year in the playoffs versus the Pistons we were down 2 and Eric hit a THREE with a couple of seconds left to put us ahead by 1,even though we lost (the BS Cucky Atkins shot)I was very proud of Snow,he also had a similar shot in the Sixers 00-01 play off run.

I know that Eric Snow has done some stuff to make me and other Sixers fans hate him but I hope we dont trade this guy!

Why do you hope that we don't trade him. He's market value is dropping really fast, and now is the time to make a move. I have heard rumors for him and Glenn to be shipped off for Michael Finley from the Mavericks. The Mavericks surely want to clear more cap space to sign a bigger star a la Shaq. The last two years he hasn't produced efficiently, and dissapears in the crunch times of a game.

What is your whole point in that? You have other leaders, and a player sometimes has to lead his own self, it's about growing up. I would rather suceed, than have leadership.

I like eric. I think he makes smart decisions, takes care of the ball, and plays very good defence for someone with his size and extension. But he is a veteran starting PG, and many teams with holes in the PG spot(Indiana for example) would probablly like to trade for him and give us something better for exchange. He isn't getting any younger, and I think now would be a good time to trade him.

yea he may do some of those things you mentioned. But we need to move on fellas. No more dead end rut of ok players, let's get the young guys like Green, Salmons some time to develop and get more playing time. I'm all for any trade within reason

i can't beleive we're locked up till the '08 season. i'm starting to wonder who would even want to trade for this guy, he's a decent player and all, but that's a lot of guaranteed years still left. Don't tell me Billy King signed him to this contract.

We could prolly get someone decent for snow but if we want to be a better defensive team we should keep him hes one of our best defenders
