ESPN reported (on T.V.) that Carter may be a Knick next season. I will post my thoughts after I finish analyzing the possiblities and pros/cons.
Rob Babcock: "I have never thought about trading Vince to the Knicks. What are these idiots talking about?" : A comment just like that was said by him when asked if there was a possibility Vince would be traded for Iverson straight up, which the idiotic media created for no apparent reason.
Ewww lol, for who, anyone but Allan Houston (especially), Penny, Tim Thomas (especially him too), Shandon Anderson or Othella. The Knicks players aren't too inviting
i can't see toronto and ny doing a trade for vc that obviously won't involved marbury. the only way i see vc having a shot to wear a knicks jersey is in a three team trade that would send him to new york. houstons contract is too big, thomas is still and underachiever, plus they have bosh. if the knicks still have van horn, i could see them having a better shot but they dont have the players to give up for vince.

I saw an article on Hoopshye.com, that said all the rumours about Vince being a Knick are untrue, this was about 3 days ago. Rob Babcock (raptors GM), has also said that unless theres a good deal on the table Vince isn't going anywhere, and looking at the Knicks players it doens't look to promising that Vince will be a Knick this season.
The knicks will give up much to get him though......so NO, raps have a young talented team that is going to be much better season to come.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting FrankWilliams:</div><div class="quote_post">I dont want carter i dont like his style... I dont think that we need him.... He's overrated....</div> You defently need him if Knicks loose a guy like Allan Houston, Penny Hardaway, Kurt Thomas.......but why is he overrated? he can dunk, Shoot, Assist......what is his overrated about.

Other than Marbury (who they will not trade whatsover), who do the Knicks have to offer the Raptors for Vince? They have taken on a lot of overblown contracts and only have one real asset in Marbury. There is no trade going on for New York. I would even be surprised if they signed/traded anyone worth noting during the offseason. They kinda painted themselves into a corner so to speak.
Everyone is asking what the Knicks have to offer. The current rumor is that the Knicks would trade Kurt Thomas to Seattle. Seattle would trade Ray Allen to Toronto. Toronto would ship Vince Carter to the Knicks. I don't see that happening in a million years. However, if Ray gets too upset, this is a pleasant alternative to the rumored Nets (Kittles, A-Train) trade.
Knicks Analyst: the clear flaw there is that the Sonics could just as easily trade Ray Allen straight up for Vince Carter. There is no way, outside of receving multiple unprotected future draft picks (from both clubs) or HUGE salary cap relief that we would be part of such a three-way deal, where we get shortchanged like that. What would be the point?

wont happen. tomas said he wont trade marbury and who else would the raptors want for vince and people close to vince said that he wants to stay in toronto and he never asked for a trade and bobcock said that to.
