Josh Smith was a wonderful high school prospect on a loaded oak hill academy team. He could have easily averaged the points dwight howard averaged off sheer athleticism alone, and we are declaring him as a draft bust. he hasnt played one game. I see him as an amare stoudemire for next year. not as powerful but just as exciting. amare was declared as a bust since he had raw skills, but look at him doing his thing in the L. it will be nice to see Josh Smith prove the doubters wrong.
josh smith has alot of potential but he is super raw he has no midrange game or a jumper also he may have to sit the pine cause remmeber who atlanta selected first the small forward out of stanford josh childress and he is a tru baller
I think that Smith could be something good. He's got a few things holding him back. First thing, he has no jump shot. His mid range game is shaky as is his long range game. The other thing, he has no right hand. He's not good with it. But, if he gets playing time, he could do something. The kid is athletic freak. Plus, that's what all his potential is based on. His athletcism. That alone might be able to take him somewhere.
