do any of us truly take kobe serious when he considers switching over to a new team? can you truly take someone serious who considers playing for the nuggets whose arena booed him everytime he touched the ball and will receive even more hate mail. also, the teams he expresses interest in sort of don't fit him. he wants a team where he can be the main player. not a player that has to fit in within the team game that will hamper his game. the reason why he was able to do it during the three rings laker era was because he wasnt in his prime. but now he has proven himself as the best in the L at what he do (be clutch, score), he wants to prove he needs no help. he wants a team that he can call his own, lead a team from the dumps, such as the lakers without shaq, or the clippers, who does not have one superstar, just many good players. but the lakers is the best fit for him, as he wont have distractions in the team if he doesnt have to argue with shaq and then he can truly show off his "jordanesque" game.

If he wants a new team, that probably the best for him.

Denver are thinking about picking Kobe up. Would be a good combination, Kobe and Carmello, and said he was thinking about going to the Nuggets.

Kobe's a tough person to predict. I really could see him doing something irrational and leaving the Lakers, but I think, in the end, he'll stay. If I was Kobe, though, I would go to the Wizards, but that's just me.

I heard Kobe is holding the Lakers hostage and making sure they make the moves he wants before he signs. He's also demanding that he gets announced last during pre-game introductions...I think he wants that in his contract.

I think he's truly serious. If anything, he wants to see what he's valued at on the free agent market. He wants to see what kind of offers he can get. And, who knows, there is always a possibility that he will be leaving the Lakers. You can't tell or assume anything currently. But, yes, I think he is serious. If he wasn't, he would have resigned with the Lakers and not spoke a word about free agency.
