I'm pretty sure that's last years summer league squad... if any of u guys are in the L.A. area, I reccommend u guys catch a game...it's only 10 dollars, and you can sit pretty close (its at Cal State Long Beach)
Wow, majority of them are returners. I'm surprised/excited to see third-year K.Rush on the roster. Can't wait to watch Luke on the floor again.
Like I said, I'm almost 100% positive that's last years roster, not this year... I remember following a lot of the Laker summer league games and those are the exact same players... Also, I looked at the Clippers roster and its exactly the same also (i.e. Marcus Hatton, Shea Cotton, etc...). The site just didn't update the Long Beach rosters yet
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Jr. 6'6" 210 Western Kentucky I think the Lakers are getting a little too nostalgic with this selection. John Thomas is not a bad player though. He can bang inside and hustle for balls. Could have had a good career had he not taken years off from basketball.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting InNETSweTrust:</div><div class="quote_post">Is that Kareem's kid?</div> Yes Is anyone going to watch the summer pro league at long beach? I'm thinking of going. Anyone who has been there before care to share your experience in detail?
Yeah like NotMuchGame said, this is definitely last year's roster. Pargo is still under contract for the Bulls as a team option, and even players on other rosters aren't updated. Theron Smith is now with the Bobcats, but he's still listed under the Grizzlies. Carmelo is also on roster for the Nuggets, but he's supposed to play for team USA this year. It's definitely last year's.

^good job Phreeze...From that list, I could see Charles Smith making it to camp (aside from the obvious like Rush, Walton, etc...)
It's actually great, I went last year and got many autographs (Carmelo Anthony, Rashard Lewis, Tex Winters, Earl Watson, Wang ZhiZhi are some of the autographs I got last year). I'm hoping to go on Friday when 8 NBA teams will be participating.
