Of all of the teams in the NFC that are vying for playoff spots right now, who do you NOT want to make the playoffs? Are there teams in the NFC that you think have a chance of beating the Eagles?

    Some obvious contenders are...

    Carolina
    St. Louis
    Minnesota
    Green Bay
    Chicago
    Tampa Bay
    Seattle

Who do you want to see miss the playoffs?

    Carolina obviously IMO.
Green Bay Favre's revenge from a few weeks back.
Seattle - Great young secondary & S. Alexander
St Louis will NOT make the playoffs

I would imagine that no one want to see Carolina right now, they are playing too well...

If the playoff picture continues to develop the way I think it's going to, Green Bay will have to play Carolina in the first round. And I definitely DON'T want to see that... Ugh...

Honestly, since the game will be at home, where we are undefeated this season I cannot think of a team I am afraid of. I would not want to play the PAckers again, cause Favre is a magician and who know about him. Seattle with Shaun Alexander can be a scary team. Those are the only two teams I can think of.

Since they are at home, I would not be scared either, it is not like they have ever lost a home playoff game, especially if the game were an NFC title game. The truth is every single team in the NFL could blow out the eagles by 30 points on a given sunday. They have a good day eagles have a bad day(or mcnabb chokes as usual) and the playoffs are over.

Enough of McNabb "choking." He had a chest contussion and broken ribs against Carolina, try throwing or running with that, even breathing probably hurt.

I'm still worried about Green Bay, just because I think Favre is amazing. Carolina doesn't bother me, I mean who have they really played in this streak? 49ers (great team), Cardinals (another fantastic team), Tampa Bay (the best of the 6 but not great by any means), Saints (Joe Horn is their team), and the Rams (not the most consistent team in the NFL this season...). I'm in no way praising the Falcons, but they're just gonna crush Carolina this weekend, adding to that real tough schedule Atlanta has. Does anyone remember Week 4 when Atlanta spanked the Panthers when they were healthier, AT Carolina? Minnesota and St. Louis don't worry me either, they're very inconsistent especially against the better teams. Seattle would've really worried me in week 4 or 5, but not so much anymore. Chicago is definetly a threat, but I still don't see them doing anything.

You know, he didnt get hurt till later in that game, and those injuries are the same type of injuries someone gets when someone else preforms Hiemlich manuever on them, and what is the hiemlich for? TO STOP CHOKING [IMG]

Actually he got hurt in the first quarter, but played with torn cartilage until the 3rd quarter. And had Thrash and Pinkston even stood up a little tiny bit, it would have been known as one of the most heroic playofff performance ever. But with Westbrook not on the team, and hobbled with the torn cartilage, he did the best he could. You want to talk about choking, Your boy Manning threw 4 INT's, and he was completely healthy, thats choking bro

Was a joke dude. A mean spirited, take Mcnabb down joke, but not the kind that requires an explanation of the game.

    Yet again, I agree w/ BF1.

Here's a different question for the Eagles fans:

I assume Jim Johnson wants to be a head coach if the right thing came along. Am I right? Does he put any vibes out to the league to the contrary? He seems to be consistently good at what he does, which usually means an opportunity.

I did just notice that he is 63, and am wondering if that has something to do with it (whether it be bias from the league or from himself).

Age..Age and Age. That is why he has not been a head coach, which sucks for him but great for us. For my money he's the best D-coordinator in the league, and also one of the highest paid.

Thanks. I know nothing about the guy, other than his performance as a D Coord. If he is head coach material, I hope he gets his chance. The average lifespan of a head coach in one job seems to be only about 3 yrs, so even at 63, I'm not sure that is too much to ask.

That said, there are a lot of good D coords in the league that are head coach material IMO.

I wouldn't want to play Green Bay or Atlanta. Vick has the tendency to play like crap one week than superb the next. My luck would be that he would go off against Philly in the title game. Green Bay, I would rather we not push our luck against Favre, but their defense is rather inviting.

Carolina is my choice. They have come to far to not be for real. They are peaking at the right time also. All in all though, the NFC has been pretty watered down and weak this year so the powerhouses, like philly, havent had the toughest time getting through thier schedule. Personally I think whoever goes to the Super Bowl from the NFC is gonna get creamed by the AFC because they are like the old NFC, especially the East, where there wasn't a winner..... just a battle hardened survivor.

The thing is this although carolina beat us last year they did not beat us with westbrook, the freak, jerimiah trotter, and hugh dogulas see i think this list of people will make a big differance for the eagles. They will show everybody that lossing T.O was bad but is not going to slow us down. Now i am not afraid of minisota,Packers, not afriad of seatle, tampa bay,st louis, or chicago i think this is the year for philadelphia
