Silas should be the one in charge of EVERYTHING. He obviously has the brains about basketball NOT Paxon. Pax is just a rich snob that doens't know how to establish his money. Bad moves after bad moves.
Yea Silas is amazing how he handled everything this year and how he gto Z too become a beast. Also he is probaly the most pissed cause boozer is just like silas when silas was younger.
I bet that Silas is on the phone with Boozer right now telling him not to go, and i'm sure that Mr. Gund is about ready to behead Paxson. Don't be surprised if their is a protest going on in front of Gund Arena tomorrow!
cleveland sheed stopping in at my bruh's house and Im in total shock right now.. I don't know what to think but we better get Boozer back, he's the Franchise; double double every night... we can't replace that.. anyways... If we can't get booz.. would we have enough money to get a Rasheed Wallace or a Kenyon Martin etc...
yeah the cavs are frugal , Zydrunas Illgauskas contract comes off the books next year so i don't see why they don't want to sign boozer even for that inflated contract. he did average a double/double and quality big man are an expensive commodity, just ask the warriors who gave foyle that ridiculous contract.
Sheed, it would be aweome if we got Martin or Rashhed but its not going too happen. We don't have the money too get them.
Surely they could trade someone like Kevin Ollie or Dajun Wagner or something to a really desperate team, so they have enough money. Do they really need players like Ruben Bountjie-bountjie? He is just taking up salary cap space, and has only played one game, where he didn't even go onto the court. They NEED TO KEEP BOOZER! They have to match Utah's offer, so he'll stay. He is the future of the Cavs.
I have a funny feeling that this is just a way for Carlos to put pressure on the Front office to give him more money. If we can't give it to him he'll bolt. I just don't think that the Front Office is just going to give him up like that.
man. with lebron and carlos that cavs had a very young and talented one-two punch. cavs seemed to have a nice run this upcoming year towards the playoffs, but with boozer leaving they are taking a step backwards, not foward. i thought they would be towards a higher seeding, but they may now struggle to get the 7th/8th seed. this move is extremely shocking considering that words don't hold that much truth in a BUSINESS. i understand that boozer turned his back and screwed the cavs, but looking at it from his p.o.v you can see he wanted to be financially secure. ya can't really blame the guy, but it was a low blow. booz will find how much harder it is in the west and i bet he will regret leaving cleveland in a year or two. especially when he sees lebron grow and help the cavs be a serious threat.
That's what I think also. I have this feeling that Boozer notices that Cleveland will be a greater contender than Utah will be. Cavs could make it to the Finals if he stays. Utah, he might have to wait a couple of years to make it to the Finals. Let's hope he sees it that way.
Can't blame boozer? I blame him 50% and Paxon the other 50... He is just a sellout for money if he takes this.. he will get paid good here but nooo he wants too become a top dawg with all that money and crap. Man just when you think you know a good guy he stabs you in the back.
Need cap room to match their offer? Houston has around a 6.9 million trade exception obtained from Utah of all teams. I highly doubt our front office would give it up for bloated contracts or crap tho(we already have enough of BOTH of those). I think we gave up a #1 to get it and to get Rice off our books last year. Wouldn't it be funny if Utah didn't get Boozer because of their own cap room last year. I DO NOT want him on their team. wait...you would still already have to be a bit under the cap to match that offer. I don't know your cap situation.
Cavs fans gotta be hating it, it would seem their must have bene a gentlemans agreement between the sides that Carlos would except the mid level exception but now the Cavs are whirlin ginto the Abyss, if he goes to Utah the Cavs season is over, if the Cavs resign him maybe the season is over since they would have to move a lot of bodies to re-sign boozer but Boozer does have youth on his side. I hate Utah they don't desserve a sweet Dukie like Carlos. cablesurfr
