I remember the time that all they got during the offseason was ERob.

But it's still too early to tell. The Bulls still has the long off season to pull something off.

it won't be a long off-season because everyone has decided what to do and where to go, looks like the only players the bulls might get are from the knicks in the sign-and-trade deal with crawford.

I hope they don't get anyone from the Knicks. A lot of those players just have horrendus contracts, and, if they have to give up Jamal, I wouldn't do it at all. They need to at least attempt to go after someone I think. I don't know who, just someone for the love of god. Make it so the offseason isn't a total failure.

I think your use to the J Krause ERA.

its better that they have role players
rather than sign a 6yr 30mill contract and have
    him sit on the bench.

The team is alot smarter now that PAX is running the show
they are going after Bruce Bowen, Steven Jaxson players we need
not K-Mart or over paid Camby.

Alot of good moves are going to be made by Pax

the bulls don't have any big-time contract players, so im assuming they have a lot of money to spend, but cant because noone is interested. bruce bowen? he used to play for the bulls for like a week and got rid of him, he is good at defense and three's, but don't count on him playing here, he will play for a contender, meaning championship contender i believe. steven jackson will prob play somewhere else, again, getting a superstar player with a huge contract is good if you have a lot of money to spend and the team sucks. yeah because you know how bad teams are when they have big-contract players...yes, camby, foyle, okur are all over-paid, but guys like kobe or mcgrady for example, even if the bulls can offer them the max, they still wound't want to play here...

    forget about bowen:

Spurs reach agreement with Bruce Bowen
    Added: 9th July, 2004 8:54 AM ET

MySA.com: "In addition to bringing back Ginobili, the Spurs have reached agreement on a three-year contract worth about $13 million with forward Bruce Bowen. The deal has a fourth-year at the team's option that if not exercised guarantees Bowen $2 million."

Other Spurs free agent Hedo Turkoglu was offered a 6 year deal for the MLE byt the Orlando Magic; the Spurs are not expected to match the offer.

With the Spurs reaching agreements with Ginoboli themselves, and an agreement with Bowen, and an idea that they are not matching Turkoglu's offer; they can start looking at other free agents with the rest of their money. They have to wat to see what the salary cap will be to see how much they have.

The other free agents they will be explorin are: Seattle guard Brent Barry, and former Spurs guard Stephen Jackson. Jackson is seeking the whole MLE; which the Spurs most likely will not offer.

"Ginobili's contract, which will average more than $8.5 million annually, represents not only his value to the franchise, but also how much teams have increased their spending on free agents this summer."

I laughed when I saw the name of this post, but Chicago is the best man. Like the other guys are saying: why overpay average players? The bulls are going to do fine this year even if they don't pick up any big names in the offseason. The bulls are a young team and will be good this year hopefully, I just don't want to see crawford go, the bulls have not offered him anything, no wonder he wants to go..

haha, stephen jackson really likes skiles and paxson and the bulls, which is why he is re-signing with the hawks and then they will trade him for al harrington. ha, because the bulls were supposed to get both or at least one of these players, harrington and/or jackson, now it's neither. the bulls will just have to work with what they have again this upcoming year.

What does everyone expect? The Bulls have been in rebuilding mode for the past few years and it doesn't look like they are done. I am extremely excited about this new team but I can understand why no one wants to be on their team. Call it the curse of Jerry Krause.

But you can't help but be excited about this team:

    PG- Hinrich
    SG- Gordon
    SF- Deng
    PF- Davis/Chandler
    C- Curry

Speaking of jumping on bandwagons...I actually like the look of this team. Young and exciting.
