with the dunk contest starting to get more boring because of the restrictions where not just anyone can participate, and the three-point shootout at the same status it has been at since it started, lets make a new event. I propose a Legends All-Star game. i know we see Magic participate in the 3 on 3 teams, but lets see the others. wouldnt it be nice to see kareem shoot over moses, dr. j and dominique to dunk one more time, to see john stockton rack up assists after assists. the game would generate almost the same excitement if not more than the all star game itself. if you have any ideas on how to spice up all star weekend, give your thoughts and propose some new events.
This wouldn't work well. You'd start getting some injuries to old guys, either that or they wouldn't play hard and people would lose excitement really rapidly. I can't stop imagining Bill Russell having a heart attack under the basket.
Instead of those stupid WNBA things. How bout... 1on1 tournament. You guys don't know how sick that would be honestly... watching the NBA players go at it 1on1... wow i'd pay to see that alone.

how about a 3 on 3 team of the all stars. since the one on one tournament will embarass someone, the 3 on 3 won't. or change the format of the game. have a tournament where the teams are High School-teams full of high school stars. Stars-Kobe, Tmac, KG, Rashard Lewis, Tyson Chandler, Eddy Curry, Darius Miles, Lebron James, Dwight Howard International-Stars-Dirk Nowitzki, Peja Stojacovic, Mehmet Okur, Darko Milicic, Tony Parker Underclassmen-came to the L as a frosh, soph, or Jr. Stars-Steve Francis, Iverson, VC, Shaq. Seniors- Tim Duncan, to lazy to name anymore its boring to see the west dominate every year
I am not sure if I wanna see a bunch of old (overwieght) superstars playing a game for 48 minutes... too many injury possibilities for them, but not sure if it will be harder getting people to stay in tune for the whole game, or getting them to play... I liked the idea at first, but I just dont think it will work out... :thumbsdow it would be more of an effort for D. Wilkins to get up there... it could work if they were recently retired stars, such as ; MJ, Stockton, Ewing (stretch)... and so on... but it would be a bad thing to see... they would be too slow, and less skilled than their 'PrimeTime' days.
How about white vs. black. They play the game at Rucker, first to 11, spotting the white guys 7 points....oh wait, they'd be politically incorrect and a disaster.
They should make the Slam DUnk Contest...more freakin exciting, by laying off the freakin restrictions, and make a better jackpot so the freakin real dunkers could freakin participate so I could freakin enjoy it again.

Escalade a.k.a the earth. Doesn't he weigh 365 lbs? I would love to see that too. The old guy thing they had before. They took that out in the 94 season. So if that was to happened. It's nothing new, just reinstalled.
