http://www.nba.com/media/timberwolves/TORPHI_040708.pdf Bosh, Araujo, Mason Jr., Matt Bonner all had solid game! Araujo was a monster on the board as he grabbed 18 rebounds (4 Offensive and 14 defensive) and posted double double with 10 points, all in 23 minutes of action and only 3 fouls. Bosh never says anything that he wouldn't do, and in this game he is returning to his usual CB4 form with 12 points and 8 rebounds (4 Offensive and 4 defensive). Matt Bonner was huge as he scored 20 and grabbed 7 boards. Roger Mason almost posted double double with 18 points and 9 assists.

probably the best game so far for araujo, bonner, and mason jr's, but 18 rebounds is great, hopefully araujo will carry that performance in the nba. bosh had an ok game, he got 8 boards and 12 points atleast.
I'm not sure what Sam Mitchell told Araujo but tonight the most important stat for him was the 3 personal fouls. Previous two games he had 5 PFs against Bobcats and 10 PFs (4 techs) against the Bucks.

He's got the size, the strength, the mentality to go after the loose ball and good positioning. Now, only if he could defend with the same nastiness that he displays on the offense and learn how to box out he'd be great.
I think Zaza had a little to do with his 10 PF and his techs last game. Good to see him clean up the boards today.
Bosh is still making me cry, but at least he rebounded today, but 0 blocks? Matt Bonenr should definately be a keeper now, he's having some good games, 3-6 three's too, Iggy sucked today though. One this is that John Salmons is a killer in summer league, man.
Thats good that the raptors young guys are showing potential. They are a team with alot of talent, but it isnt mature enough to contribute yet. Though I wouldnt base much on the summer leagues for my example I will use john salmons one of my favorite none superstar players he lights it up during the summer league had a great game vs you guys 8 rebounds 6 assists and 24 points I believe. Last year won the rebook most valuable player award during that summer league averaging 19.6 points. Then in the sixers injury plaged season. Were he is asked to step in and come big. He showed a real lack of consistansy. He averaged I believe 6 point somthing points. At times he looked lost out there. Although in games he scored over 10 points with was about 20 something times they had a winning record. Also another guy is frank williams last year lights it up for the knicks summer league. Then doest even play all season. Also does nothing in the playoffs for them. One more guy is janero pargo last season him and kareem rush shot lights out for the lakers summer league each averaging 15+ points a game. Rush came out good. While on the other hand pargo was waved. Signed by the raptors. Waived by the raptors. Signed by the bulls. Waived by the bulls. On and on like that all year. Anyway the point Im tring to get at is the reason guys mostly play well during the summer league is because only players that need improving usually play. Along with a few vets that need to get into shape. There are no real superstar players out there to play against. Along with no bruce bowen's, ron artest's, and trenton hassel's defending them.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Signed by the bulls. Waived by the bulls. On and on like that all year.</div> Actually Pargo stayed on the Bulls and lit it up. Kareem Rush = Kobe Frank Williams was starting till......Stephon Marbury. It's true that this isn't some super competition, but dominating in summer league means the player can be a good rotation guy, John Salmons, Willie Green, Jarvis Hayes, Jared Jefferies.

Anyway they could be good in the rotation, but Im saying scoring alot of performing well in the summer league does not mean much alot of times.

Marcus Banks did very good last year and had an alright season last year.
