VC can dunk?!...must have fallen asleep during that play.
But naw really the off the backboard jam was nutty...and i seem to remember a dunk this year down the lane over Duncan that was a showstopper.
Let's all hope that signing Skip can bring some of that schoolyard flare back to the Raps.

Behind the backboard, 360 against the grain windmill from All Star 2000

My favourite dunk I have seen from VC was actually in a game:

Playing the Pacers in his rookie year Vince was being guarded by Chris Mullin. Pump fakes, gets him in the air and continues to drive baseline. VC jumps straight to the basket, turns himself 180 degrees <font size="1">(His back is facing the basket now)</font>, cups the ball with two hands, double pumps (!!!) and does a reverse windmill (!!!!) on two defenders. What makes that dunk more amazing is the fact that he was still rising when he dunked it. Absolutely THE sickest dunk I have seen ever. No one, not even MJ or Dominique could top that one.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting skip:</div><div class="quote_post">also that alleyoop in LA where dee brown threw it, and VC literally HUNG in midairt and posed before catching and throwin it down...</div>^Another favourite was a sick one-handed alley oop against the Clips and who can forget him playing hurdles on Frederick Weis at the Olympics?

BTW everyone remembers the 360 he did against Dallas in transition but he also did a 360 in traffic once. Those were the days when Vince would actually move without the ball.

My favourite VC breakaway dunk is, or are: 1. the windmill against cleveland. 2. the one handed 360 against New York.
Favourite VC in-traffic dunk: Against Cleveland Cavaliers, Vince drove down the lane and did a pivot spin move and rose up for a one handed slam.
Favourite VC buzzer beater dunk: Versus Houston, with less than 5 seconds left in the game, Vince in an isolation play penetrates and dunks to give the raptors the lead with 1.6 seconds left on the shotclock.
Favourite VC tip-in dunk: At Miami, VC leaped above everyone else for a posterizing tip-in slam over Brian Grant.

The last 2 aren't really categories because those are the only type of those dunks under those headlines that he has done.

no not really. Im not sure if VC did any other buzzer beater dunks but he did plenty more tip in dunk.. I can't remember when but when Antonio Davis missed a jumpshot early in the season, Vince tipped it in coming from nowhere.

The only buzzer beater dunk was versus Houston, and that wasn't even one, because their was still time on the clock left. The rest of his tip in dunks weren't as dramatic as this on, they were like lazy ones. The one versus Miami he just flew out of nowhere.

How about the one vs the Nets? Curry missed the shot and Vince ran in from no where and dunked it HARD.

His windmill against the Bucks at the ACC in 2000 was pretty nuts. He got sooo high on that. His head was pretty much rim level. I don't think we will every see such an awesome and full windmill every again.

    1. Reverse Alley Oop
    2. Breakaway 1 handed Sledgehammer
    3. Sweet spin move into the land THEN Dunked on Divac with 2 hands and spun around. So cool

another sick dunk, vince crosses laker (fox?) in his second year in a slow fast break and does a tamahawk and does some weird dance with his body and head

by the way, maxamillion, who's AI talking about in that quote?

My favourite VC dunks during a regular season game (in order)...

    1) the alley-oop from Dee Brown against the Clippers is my all-time favourite. I think I watched that clip about 40 times and it still gives me goosebumps. Like someone said before, it looked like he just literally paused in mid-air and did lightning fast one-handed slam without much effort at all. I was also amazed at how easily he caught the ball from behind his back with only one hand.

    2) I think it was against the Cavs when he did a one-handed 360 in the lane with defenders around him. The dunk alone looked pretty sweet but for him to do that kind of dunk without being on a fast break amazes me.

    3) The one on Mutombo. Man, it looked like Carter was just getting higher and higher on that dunk.

I remember that dunk over Duncan. That was in 2002, the 2002-2003 season, his most injury plagued season, so he might still some of those hops in him.

I liked his windmill reverse against Indiana. Then he did that again but with one hand in his 2nd year in the preseason. Oh and him dunking on Mutombo was classic as well.

My favorite VC dunk was this past season against the Kings in November. Vince went up strong in the lane and someone came to block it, then Vince (in air) moved the ball past the defender's hand, back around, and threw it down. That dunk was sick.
