Who would you rather have as your coach? I hear Shell is interested in the job now.

Personally, I'd like to see Art Shell get another chance to coach. I think he got a raw deal from the Raiders and his career has never fully recovered from it.

Neither of the two excites me.

If they haven't already were wise, they should interview Romeo Crennel tonight.

BA, don't the Dolphins have to wait until the end of the season to interview Romeo Crennel?

Technically, I believe they do unless the current employer says its okay.

NFL rules prevent assistants from interviewing as long as their team is still playing, even the team cant give permission to supercede....Crennel isnt going to get the Dolphins job because they want someone in place asap....I prefer Shell, not because I think hes better than Saban, but because he doesnt demand total personel control like Saban wants....

Looks like Saban's going to get the job offer today. It will be interesting to see if he accepts.

I'm not sure if that's a good thing for Miami or not. I guess time will tell.

I have to agree with The Beef. I would rather see someone with a proven track record with personel come in and handle the GM chores. I just don't understand why the Dolphins are in such a hurry. Let's do this the right way.

Saban is a friend & disciple of Belichick so that IMO is a good thing.

It can NOT be any worse than when old what's his name was in charge of personnel.
