wouldnt make sense for karl to go back to Utah...Boozer and Okur will hog all the frontline minutes, plus he already stated that if hes coming back, it'll be with the Lake show...plus, it wouldnt make sense for the Jazz to sign him...now they need some shooters and depth at the guard spot...
He would never go back for one reason. DO any of you remember how they dissed Kobe during the half-time show at a game last year? Malone was disgusted by it and hates the org. now. They did some skit where the mascot got in some kind of trouble and inthe end he was on a cell phone and his last line was something like "It could be worse. Remember Kob-" then it cut's off.
um they also dissed malone too if i remember correctly...but yah malone will never ever resign with utah...anyone who thinks he would doesnt remember last season well enough

it cant happen RJ 21 makes a great point. They have upset to many of karls friends and karl himself. I think that Karl will either retire or stick out one more year with lakers hoping to win a ring. I believe the lakers will convince him to stay.
Malone will go wherever he thinks that he can win a championship easily, or LA if they'll pay him what he wants. I remember his agent saying something to the effect of last year's salary that he was paid was a "gift" to the Lakers and that now he is expecting more money. I wish he'd just retire already.
i think he will resign with the lakers but will play a back up power foward. the lakers wud bring him on for 2 reasons, 1 being they fact of being a back up pf/center(depends on the personal) and also help teach the new player still learning like odom, cook and all the players to really know how to play smart and what to do. but i think it will be very unlikely that malone will sign with any but the lakers so to answer ur queations no, he will not

I would kill to get back with the Lakers. Having him there would be a boost to our defense and rebounding. Did you see how many times he pulled the chair from underneath Garnett, Duncan, Ming.. almost everyone he guarded.
Boozer, Okur, Collins, Humphries, Bochardt .... Malone wouldn't be a good fit. I'd like to see him next to the big fella again this year, in Miami.

http://www.startribune.com/stories/510/4893996.html According to a report out of the MInneapolis Star Tribune newspaper, Mchale let us know that he feel Malone will sign with the Heat. Regarding the possibility of signing free agent Karl Malone, Timberwolves vice president Kevin McHale said he hears the veteran power forward will sign with Miami. Just passing the FYI. Peace
