This reminds of the year that Denver went to the Super Bowl to play the Packers. Everyone thought that AFC had no chance that year, and they won. You watch out this year, the NFC may be weak, but for one game any team could win. Just look at the Patriots just 3 years ago.

You people do not give the rest of the Eagles team enough credit. Sure TO was a huge Cog in the machine, but he just that one piece, not the whole thing. With out defense getting healthy for the playoffs (Hollis Thomas and Burgess back) I dont see how anyone in the NFC will be able to score against us. And with McNabb running the O, I still see us winning.

The Eagles will still be very good, no doubt, but TO was the offense. Having a good receiver like that forces the defense to open up for the rest of the field. If McNabb is as good as everyone says he is, then the Eagles will not have any troubles, but there are some teams in the NFC that could take them out now that Owens is gone.

Remember, on any given Sunday any team can win. No one doubts that the AFC is the better conference this year, but I definitely think that on Super Bowl Sunday, depending on who gets there, the game could be a toss up.

Just my opinion mind you, but I think that the Eagles are going to choke up a storm. And if New England Chowder is going to be at the super bowl, it's only because good ole billy boy brought it with the pats to get his third supper bowl ring in four supper bowl years. lol.

Look the bottom line is that the Eagles wont have enough AGAIN and will fail in the playoffs

Very true E4L. Of course, you could say the same thing about the NFC side of the playoffs too. No one (at least until TO got hurt) is giving other teams a chance against the Eagles. OK, except for BF1 [IMG] .

well, look at the last game. they almost lost to the cowboys...i say almost, big deal, but if mcnabb wouldnt have got those two runs, the Cowboys would have won. and the score was 7-6 when they had TO. now i find it ironic, that the Cowboys lost Irvin in Philly...and now TO is out. i hope the cowboys did take him out and the eagles cant fly to the super bowl. but, think about it. without TO the dfesne plays man on the wide revievers, and they can bring a saftey in the box, to cover westbrook, or to spy mcnabb. so the eagles can be beat. but just hope that TO makes a smart move and doesnt try to play, even if they make it to the "supper" bowl he shouldnt play. but if HE WANTS TO, he will. remember, he got up and walked off the field and into the tunnel...he should have had help. regardless if he was checkin on how he could run, or walk for that matter.
so my prediction is if they play a good defense, they lose. simple, just how i said, i mean when ur recievers are afraid to catch the ball...you dont have a chance just running.
especially if the team you play can put up points too.

as for anygiven sunday...miami over the pats...no more to say.

and for the afc i say the steelers...which i think is the "darkhorse",as they called it i believe, this year. i call them winning it all.

now i am a diehard cowboys fan and i say it.

defenses will defend the Eagles in a different way now, they will man up on the WR and blitz the hell out of McNabb....McNabb is good enough to beat the blitz if he has a WR that can beat the coverage, but i don't think they do....it will be a struggle without TO....

but what about westbrook, certainly superback will singlehandedly break apart other teams defenses, and i was told mitchell and pinkston wer playing well by eagles, plus Mcnabb is the MVP to some people here, TO going down is not an excuse, just a minor obstacle, for a team as eagles fans say could set record for most pro bowlers ever.

Westbrook - 703 recieving yards. Closest back to him, Domanick Davis - 515 yards. Throw in his 812 yards rushing, and I bet he's pretty high in all-purpose yardage. What don't you like about the guy? He's 5th in all-purpose yards for running backs.

    4. SHAUN ALEXANDER - 1462 155 1617
    5. WESTBROOK - 812 703 1515
    6. COREY DILLON - 1430 71 1503
    7. RUDI JOHNSON - 1324 71 1395

He's a balanced back, catching balls and running for them. He's got 6 recieving TD's. Closest to that? Shaun Alexander with 4 TD's. 73 receptions, WAY more than any other back, which is why he doesn't put up 1000 yards rushing, but all purpose he's great. Get off his case, he's a good back. But besides him, I think L.J. Smith will start getting more involved, as well as Chad Lewis. We'll see though

time will tell. our Defense is playing lights out and is the best one as of right now

usually the best D going into the playoffs is the 1 that makes itto the super bowl

    Carolina
    Tampa
    NE
    Baltimore
    NYG
    ...

Ah, after re-reading it, I get it... and I've always thought that defense wins championships. And since the Steelers have the number 1 defense in the NFL.....

    Portis - 1283, 235, 1518
