"I find it ironic in the end that he showed such a commitment to the team."</div> <div align="center">Link</div> I agree with Stu Jackson being that it's ironic how Iverson stayed committed to the team, when the committee pondered whether he should even make the team. Props to Iverson for even making the team and staying committed to the team for that matter when others could have care less. I expected Iverson alongside Tim Duncan to bring the gold back to the US, and go undefeated in the process.
It is truly sad how most of the guys that played in the qualifyers are nowhere to be found now. The whole Olympics are going to be retarted this year, Peja/Divac/Jaric not playing for Yugo, Bryant/Shaq/Kidd/McGrady/etc. not playing for the US. Instead of keeping it together in times like these, people just break apart.
