<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What?s the summer league experience been like for you?

Luke Jackson: It?s been fun. It hasn?t been a huge adjustment. You just have to get to know the guys you?re playing with and new plays and that sort of thing.

Is the competition what you expected?

LJ: Yeah, I?ve played with a lot of these guys over the years. At AAU camps, Nike, Jordan camps, something like that. So I?ve played against a lot of the guys, and it something I?m ready for or used to. I feel comfortable, but I?m a little banged up.

    Banged up? What?s wrong?

LJ: Just bruised up. I?ve been working out now for two months. I had 16 teams that I worked out for pre-draft so I?ve been working out for awhile, so this has been a long summer.

A couple of months before the draft you were considered a late to mid-first-round pick, but you shot up and became a lottery pick. What do you think you did in those individual workouts that impressed so many teams?

LJ: I can shoot the ball. I?m just a versatile guy. I can handle it, rebound. I just know how to play the game. They just look for that, plus I?m a competitor.

Was Cleveland a team before the draft that you thought you could fit in on?

LJ: Yeah, I felt it was a good fit for me. There are guys on that team that understand how to play and I feel like it?s a team on the rise, so I?m excited to be part of that organization.

Are you excited to get to play with LeBron?

LJ: It?s exciting just because he has the potential to be just a great NBA player and anytime you get a chance to play with somebody like that, it?s exciting. But I just want to help him, take pressure off him and try to win ballgames.</div>

I love the kid too! LOL Seriously though, he has a great attitude and is gonna fit in well with this team. If they could possibly make a run at a PF like Mcdyess or Wallace then they could do well. I think once the season gets started, he will be starting after some games. He is very versatile and reminds me some of Larry Bird. He can shoot the ball well and can also rebound. I am in no way trying to say he will be one of the best players of all-time but he has the ability to be a star in this league.

This kid is gonna be great, I love his attitude he said something quite similar to this for his reason for not showing at the draft he said something about him being in a sweatty shirt and being at the gym instead of waiting to be drafted. This kid is really good as well I saw a game I think it was him Oregon VS ............. i cant remember and he was shooting the lights out.

Players like him don't come easy, I hope Paxon doesn't deal him because the departure of Boozer. Paxon likes to make smack head moves.

Agreed. Plus, let's not forget a guy like Kedrick Brown, or even Diop, could have a breakout year. I think Wags will be much improved over last season, and Jackson/Pavlovic is already a big improvement for us at SF where we didn't get much from anyone last season. Plus we'll have McGinnis for the whole year, LeBron will be even better, and we still have our MLE to pick up another PF. Depending on who we pick up, I say we will almost definitely make the playoffs despite losing Boozer.
