I bought City of God and the Seven Samurai this past week. Seven Samurai was a 'blind buy', but I've rented City of God previously and it's magnificent. If you have the opportunity, check it out.

Sever Samauri is one of the best movies ever. I forgot to put it on my list, along with both Kill Bills. You won't regret the purchase. Try to watch it in one sitting.

I just saw One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, again. Man, that movie gets better, and better. Nicholson is fantastic in it, whatever happened to that?

I saw I, Robot the other night. Beforehand I really didn't want to see it because I thought it looked like a dumb idea for a movie but my friends dragged me there and I was pleasantly surprised. The effects are incredible and the storyline was compelling. I recommend it even if you think it looks stupid like I did.

Just watched Spiderman 2. Pretty good movie except there were boring parts, like the whole romance thing. BTW is it me or does Kirsten dunst have to have a wet t-shirt scene in every Spiderman movie? I ain't complaining.....

They need to get Charlize Theron doing more wet T-shirt scenes. I don't mind Kirsten Dunst, but I think she's a tad overrated as far as 'movie babes' go.

^I don't consider her a "movie babe" at all. She's kind ugly to be honest. Perky breasts, but her face needs a little work.

I just saw Intolerable Cruelty, POS if I'd ever seen one. I'd like two hours of my life back Mr. Clooney.

I just saw (don't laugh) The Notebook. It was actually a pretty good movie, altho at the end of the movie I was the only person in the theatre not crying...I think I got some (in)sensitivity issues...I dunno

Anyway, that girl in that movie is freakin hot, damn I think I'm in love, lol...her name is Rachel McAdams (I just looked it up [IMG] )

Has anyone seen the movie 'Radio' with Cuba Gooding Jnr? I saw it on Friday and have to say I enjoyed it immensley. The sort of heart warming movie everyone loves (even if they don't admit it), stellar performance from CGJ (aka fucking champ).

Just saw Memento, one of the better movies I've seen in my life. Also, yesterday I re-watched I Am Sam. I am in that phase now where I re-watch movies, and watch some of the better ones I missed somehow such as Memento. Not much good stuff in the video store under New Releases so those movies were definetely good filler-uppers.

Definitely want to re-watch Memento. You notice and understand so many more things in that movie the second or third time you watch it.
