Now that Shaquille O'Neal has been traded to the Heat, does that mean Kobe Bryant would be willing to return to the Lakers? Or would he want to sign with another team still, maybe the Clippers?

What do you Clipper fans think?

Personally, I don't think the Clippers would give up attaining Kobe just yet. They would still try their best to sign him, but I don't think they'll succeed.

I hope Kobe comes to Memphis, we could trade Gasol for Kobe and then resign Stro .. But if Kobe doesnt come here I'd love to see him mixed with the young talent the Clips have .. This could put them over the top here.

i understand it's pretty much fixed to a choice between the clips and the lakers according to espn. personally, i would like to see him play with the clips and see how the lakers turn out next season.

    Well..

Lakers can offer him the most money...either way he goes it will be tough for him to get a ring now. I live in LA and like both teams and I want him to go to the Clips, a young good ball club in need of experience and kobe can provide that.

I hope that he will go to the Clippers considering how Quentin Richardson has said that he does not want the Clippers to match his offer from Phoenix, and if Kobe goes to the Clippers then he will have a far superior supporting cast around him with the Clippers (Brand, Maggette, Livingston, Jaric, Kaman, Wilcox) compared to with the Lakers (Odom, Butler, Grant, Rush, Walton and maybe Payton). IMO Kobe going to the Clippers is a far better fit for him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It would be a sad day for me if Kobe signs with the Clippers. I know it's less than 2 hrs away until we all hear his decision (he's supposed to announce his decision between Lakers and Clippers today at noon PST) but let me just say this again: I do not want an egocentric, dynasty-dismantling player like Kobe to come on my beloved Clippers. It just ain't right! The Clippers have been the most exciting team to watch for me. The Lakers are pretty exciting to watch sometime, but their egos and all that just makes me sick. Yeah I guess you can call me a Laker-hater, or you can see me as a Clipper-lover. Eitherway, I really hope Kobe stays in Lakers and try to lead that team by himself to championships. I highly doubt he can do that btw.
