I hope it's not something that the Wiz will regret in the future. But now with Shaq in the division, Etan is too small anyway!

With Thomas gone the Wizards desperately need to go after a big man. Haywood will not get it done against Shaq. Shoot, Im still waiting to see how he does against Cato. Haywood didnt impress me much this past year, and if he doesnt improve the Lakers will be eaten alive down low.

It's unlikely but I hope we somehow keep Etan. We need the depth he adds coming off the bench. You cant stop Shaq, thats obvious, there isnt a player in the league we could pick up to do it. Detroit didnt stop him, he averaged like 26-27 ppg. Detroit did do something that no other team did though... they didnt double team him. They figured Shaq is going to score 30 a game anyway so whats the point? Even if you double on him refs just call a foul & why open things up for the other players on the floor. Detroit locked down on everyone else on the court & let Shaq do his thing, they killed L.A. Call me crazy but I hope Miami picks up Shaq. They already lost Raefer Alston, the trade for Shaq would include 3 other starters, besides Wade who else do you need to worry about? They will have no depth at all. So why not just keep subbing Haywood, Thomas or even that kid Ramos on Shaq? Sure they going to get slapped around for four quarters but unless Shaq can outscore Arenas, Jamison, Hughes, Brown, Hayes, Blake, & Dixon combined, then their not going to win the game.

It's starting to look like we may keep Etan. I hope we don't pay too much for him, though, because he is a backup and we have to realize that. He's a very nice 6th or 7th man, though, so we can give him good money, just not too much. He really wants to stay too!
