The Mavericks have re-signed Steve Nash to a 6 year 48 million. Although streetballer2k3 is over the cap he can go even more over to re-sign his own players (stupid rule should be taken out)
It's called the Larry Bird rule I am over the cap, but since he is really on my team, the "Larry Bird" rule comes into play giving me the ability to go over the cap and sign him back to me. That is how Allen Houston is getting paid a trillion dollars even though the Knicks way are over the cap. The Mavericks also did that resigning Dirk Nowitzki and Micheal Finley. Here is a link to a full explanation of the "Larry Bird Execption" http://members.cox.net/lmcoon/salarycap.htm (it is question 17)
After unexpectedly being able to resign Steve Nash, I am happy to show my lineup and salary situation. Player--------Salary Shaquille O'Neal 29,464,288 Dirk Nowitzki 12,584,000 Sam Cassell 5,650,000 Eduardo Najera 3,809,525 Shawn Bradley 4,000,000 Damon Jones 3,000,000 Jon Barry 5,000,000 Rashard Lewis 7,100,000 Emmanuel Ginobili 6,000,000 Darius Songaila 2,000,000 Tamar Slay league minimum Hedo Turkoglu MLE Steve Nash 8,000,000 Current Maverick Lineup: PG- Cassell/Nash/Jones/Slay SG- Ginobili/Barry/Slay SF- Lewis/Najera/Turkoglu PF- Nowitzki/Songaila/Turkoglu C- O'Neal/Bradley/Streetball2k3 I have a sick team, NBA Finals bound in my opinion.
Well, seeing nobody is really online now, i'm going to bed, ill be back in 12 hours. I'll leave by saying this, Steve Nash is on the trading block.
Nash would be on the trading block...but since you signed him, he can't be traded. Am I correct? But then again...there has been alot of guys traded that were previously signed...like Bruce Bowen The way I see it...you can trade anyone you sign, because there's a rule that you can't until December, but if we are building a team that we'd want to eventually get into the NBA Finals, then that should include trading guys we've signed.

Alright make sure you don't let people get decent FA's so cheap, Dupree shouldn't go for 2 years 2 million

Hey og15, do you want to do all the free agent signings? You've been keeping really great track of them and all...and plus, I'm not so sure about keeping up with the PM's because I've been having way too many just today...
Yea alright, PM FA Signings to me for now or message me on MSN - ogie21@hotmail.com Memphis (Adubb) has signed Wesley Person for 2 years 1.7 million also offered Chris Anderson 2 year 1.5 million Denver can match that offer if willing LA Clippers (Kobe_8_Ball) has signed Mitchell Butler to 2 years 2.3 million 1.1 first, and 1.2 second. LA Clippers have also offered Chris Mihm 3 years 12 million, Mihm has declined Houstons offer and is now pending with LAC.
My new Roster: PG- Shaun Livingston/Marcus Banks SG- Paul Pierce/Jarvis Hayes/Mitchell Butler SF- Antawn Jamison/Bobby Simons/Jared Jeffries PF- Elton Brand/Michael Sweetney C- Samuel Dalembert/Josh Moore Elton Brand and Paul Pierce are tradable with the right deal

og15, Horace Grant is mine? I've resigned Horace Grant to the Veteran's minimum ($1 million) for one year.
