Kukoc, 35, is coming off a contract that paid him $9.5 million last season, meaning he likely will command a good portion, if not all, of the $5.1 million midlevel exception.</div>

I think it would be a good pickup, but only if they can sign him to half or less of the MLE. That way, they can go out and find another power forward with the rest of the money.

I love Toni. He played pretty streaky last season, but pulled through for the Bucks in key games. He can't play a lick of D, but hey, he's Croatian.

    . . . I'M KIDDING.

I hope we dont' take him... we really desperatly need a quality PF that won't have a high risk of getting injured. Hopefully there's something out there that will fit our needs...

Kukoc will bring playmaking, some shooting, and no defense, he wouldn't be my firt, second or third choice for an FA.

Kukoc would be an excellent addition to the Miami Heat. If Wright does not start we can expect Kukoc to take that role until Wright matures.

As for PF, Spurs are looking at Malone, but Shaq can always talk him into coming to the Heat - if not Udonis Haslem. Hes a great defensive player.

    We will do just fine.

Was the Doleac deal for part of the MLE? I dont think Kukoc would be all that great of a fit, you are going to want the ball in Wade's hands as much as possible so it doesnt make sense to have a forward playmaker type, Mark Madsen or Malik rose type would be good someone to get open and score layups without the ball. to me Kukoc is just an older Medvedenko and playing with shaq all medvedenko did was wait for a double on shaq and bombs away. Watch out for Malone all bets are off in LA and he will have the itch to come back.

He'd be a nice fit...a long scorer who can play three positions and has nice ballhandling skills, as well as having championship experience...if he comes cheap, he'd be a really nice fit in Miami...

toni is a great guy to have coming off the bench, he's a matchup nightmare. if i was the heat i would seriously consider signing shooters to surround shaq. although, i think riley as a gm is seriously past his prime, he's made blunders upon blunders.

    It's because he's European, and Europeans don't play defense, it's a given.
