i heard that there might be another lockout after next season. is it about other issues or money? im sure it is about money, so what more do these greedy low-lifes want and need? they cant speak english, uneducated, do drugs, rape girls, cheat on their wives, beat them, play a sport for a living making millions retire before 40 and they want more?
I have heard nothing about another lockout. Hopefully one doesn't happen as we don't need a repeat of '99 again. A 50 game season, no All Star Game or festivities, yes, that would, without a doubt, suck massively. I'm hoping it doesn't happen, but, the NHL is currently perfect proof that it could happen as they are on the verge of one also.
The current CBA, which was created in the 1999 lockout, expires after next season. They have to agree to a new CBA, it might take a while to do that, but shouldn't affect the length of the season.
It's very possible. I actually will be writing an article that should appear in the JBB exclusives (probably not soon though) about what some of the issues at stake are. The negotiations are closed so I can't get too much hard information, but as per all negotations, both sides don't want to budge from their extreme positions.
I Know there's Probably going to be an NHL Lockout in a few months,but this is News to me..I Hope this just isn't true at all!
The NHL is totally different. Some owners want salary caps. Many teams dont generate much money and should be contracted, and on top of that, the NHL lost 300 Million last year.
