It has become obvious every hates the way the pro bowl works so i would like everyone ot complain here. NOTE: I HATE THE PRO BOWL
I think the Pro Bowl is a joke and waste of time personally. How can you just come up with 2 full teams of great players over a season, without leaving someone out here and there who probably should be in or even getting players in that really shouldnt be. Therefore pissing players and fans off so why bother just for one game. I really dont think its worth the hassle and all the politics that go along with it to have that one game a year, the Super Bowl is important enough without having some shitty Pro Bowl thrown in there afterwards.

i dont think the fans shjould decide, a lot of them only choose players because they like them, not because theyre good
One thing everyone needs to keep in mind is that the Pro Bowl is defined by the criteria set to get in. Being that the fan vote is 1/3 of the process, then everyone should expect at least some variance to what "experts" think. Of course it's a popularity contest, of course some guys will make it in on their name. I don't always agree on who gets in, but there are some tough calls at the end. Tomlinson last year and Dillon this year. I mean those guys should have made it. But then again, Tomlinson wasn't undeserving this year. But you couldn't leave James or Martin out. In an imperfect system, and an imperfect process, expect imperfection.
I think for certain positions(QB, Rb, WR) it should be based on stats, because that is all position is about, determine how much each stat counts for, like in FF, and then there is no argument, plus you can wait till after week 17 to decide.
They should wait until after week 17 no matter what, I see no point in naming Pro Bowl before the season is over....13% of the season has yet to be played and the pro bowl teams are locked in....
I think that the Personnel Managers for each team should vote for the Pro-Bowl as a committee of 32 people. Their job is to evaluate all of the talent in the NFL for signings and free agency, etc. so they probably know the players and what they're doing better than anyone does. Keep the fan voting, but have it only count as 25% of the vote. Give the other 75% vote to the committee and make it so you can't vote for anyone on your own team. That might work.
