A lot of players are still waiting, negotiating, and dealing. Some of the better guys (in my opinion) that are left on the board, in alphabetical order as of August 22, well over five weeks into the offseason:

Jon Barry - he's got his family in Atlanta, but has his choice of many places. I'm sure he'll end up in a place that fits him and his hard working, blue collar mentality.

Keon Clark - his on-court game is great, but everything else is dubious. Apparently dubious enough to scare people off even in this offseason where few big men were available.

Toni Kukoc - he's well past his prime, but he can still play a good game of basketball. I'm sure he's trying to decide between a few teams, still.

Darius Miles - his restricted free agent status is probably hurting his freedom to shop around, but I'm surprised that teams are not pursuing him much at all.

Stromile Swift - same as Miles, he's a young atheltic player who hasn't lived up to the expectations from draft day. He'd be a good fit on many teams, but rumors of loose screws and being difficult to coach may be dogging him.

Rodney White - although he was rumored to be heading somewhere for about a month now, either he can't make up his mind, or the teams that are pursuing him are asking him to wait until after a trade.

I would take Toni Kukoc, Jon Barry

We need shooters. Kukoc would be good shooter for any of the 5 postions, Barry would be great off the bench and he can flat out shoot.

I'm pretty sure that the Roster is set.

The GS roster seems certainly set now, most of the posts were made before the Damp deal. I'll keep updating to see where the rest of the guys end up, especially with few roster spots left and young guys getting looks in training camp.

I think, with the start of training camp, that so few free agents are left that it's time to take this down. People now are getting non-guaranteed or minimum contracts only.

I think it's time to start allowing 15 man active rotations rather than 12 [IMG] I get your point. There's a lot of decent free agents left out there that haven't gotten the minutes yet to show their magic. Plus maybe it's not making the most of the opportunity. Like Chris Jeffries got waived because he's go no J and no dribble. Good defender though. And Ansu Sesay? A great defensive sf/pf tweener. Really athletic, but no range on his J.
