Antawn Jamison is the most underrated player in the league besides Finley. This guy is one of a few to score 50 points in back to back nights. Hes been my favorite player since he was drafted. You wiz fans should appreciate this star coming to your town. He can really do stuff with arenas. You guys have a really good player here dont abuse him like you did with stack and others. -loyal magic fan
Don't let Arenas hear that, he's not the most underatted player in the league, they had a talented GS team that couldn't win. He's an all-star type playr, but not a franchise guy, good, but won't take your team far without major help, he's a good guy to have though, now if he was a good defender.
if you give jamison the ball he will take you places, just through in a rebounder and your set espically in the divison the wiz are in. just watch - 04-05 MVP candidiate Jamison
He isnt a leader, he is a good ball player but not someone to build your team around...that is why we have Arenas and Kwame.

In the few games last year that we had Arenas, Hughes, & Stack on the court we were amazing. After a game against Memphis, Hubie Brown said we were "the fastest team in the east from basket to basket, hands down." He also said we were going to be the toughest team to beat, then Hughes broke his hand. I can only imagine how well we are going to run with Jamison instead of Stack. It's going to be insane this year. Hopefully Hughes wont get injured, he was the glue that made that trio work as well as it did last year. When Hughes went down we lost more games than ever, he did everything he could to pick up the slack for Arenas & Stack when they went down. He even played 3 games with broken hand/wrist. We need to make sure we renew his contract next year. Since when did we abuse Stack or any other player for that matter? We gave Stack a contract extension of 28 mill & he "took himself out of the game." The team doctors couldnt find anything wrong with him but he wanted to sit out when we were still fighting for the final playoff spot. He was supposed to be our leader & show our kids how to be tough & fight. I am so glad he's gone. Having him around reminded me of losing Hamilton anyway. The only guy who abused any players was MJ. I still cant believe what he did to Kwame.

Jamison will give us the scoring presence up front that we have lacked since the days of C Webb and Juwan.
Man it's so different here on the wiz boards than on warriors board.. everyone used to trash jamison and I was the only one who backed him up. Good to see people appreciating him. I can't wait to see Jamison,Hughes, and Arenas play together. I still think Hughes is a special player... and I can't wait until the 3 former warriors make the playoffs so I can tell the guys on the warriors board.. "I told you so"... oh and I'd like your honest opinion, Hughes or Jason Richardson? and Why?
Hmmmmmm.....J Rich is a real high-flyer...but the truth is that I just can't say I've seen enough of JR to really give an educated opinion. With that being said, i gotta go w/ my team's LH.
I have to go with Hughes, HE can score at will when he chooses, he can hit open shots, drive the lane, and plays nice d especially on the fast break.

Besides his defensive play, what could they say? To be fair I havent seen that much of JRich since he played in college, but I have to say Hughes. Not only for his offensive & defensive talents, but because he doesnt complain about stuff. He does whats best for the team. When Gil was healthy, he played a backup role. When everyone went down he put the team on his back & did the best he could. He's quiet & he lets his play speak for him, I respect that.

But my argument was always that he could've easily been a jerk, but he wanted to stay with Golden State and make them a winner, but then they trade him anyway. Everyone on the Warriors board, love JRich over Hughes. When the Warriors let Hughes walk I was upset and people were like.. JRich is gonna be a star and this and that, but he can't dribble the ball as a 2 guard, and can't shoot free throws. Jamison will be a good addition to the roster because he just plays he game. The dumb warriors fans were saying how he's a selfish player, but he didn't complain one bit when Dallas made him come off the bench.
hey Kobe i agree with you ( you liked that didnt you. {you thought u were Kobe} )
Quoting Kobe 8 Ball:

He isnt a leader, he is a good ball player but not someone to build your team around...that is why we have Arenas and Kwame.
I think Jamison works best as a compliment to a team like sorta as a off-ball player. I mean i think he does the dirty work and will absoulutely kill opposing teams when there main focus is really on guys like arenas and Kwame ( Mr. Development) Antwan will do beutifully int he east. And how his division sounds he might just break out unless teams start to focus on defending him.
