According to sportscenter and Jim Gray, Kobe will state which L.A team he will play for tomorrow. the anouncement will be made at noon (pacific time) So go ahead people, make your educated guess on what L.A team he will choose. If I were in his position I would go with the more talented roster, which is the Clippers. However I suspect he will choose the Lakers. Money shouldn't be a factor.
Money def. should not be a factor, especially when it is that much 30 or 40 mil is nothing...I htink it will be the Clippers with Brand, Maggette, and and upcoming star in Livingston they could be serious contendors...he coul dbe their missing piece.
Also, if Kobe goes to the Clippers, how BAD will the Lakers be? Man, I'd feel sorry for Rudy T if that happened.
He's going to be a Laker. Maggette is possibly going to be a star someday, and that would hurt Kobe as a player. Unless Maggette is benched which is unlikely, then he could go to the Clippers, but the Lakers should be his home for his whole career nonetheless.
How can having another potential all-star on your team,hurt Kobe?If any thing it'll taken a little weight of his shoulders,I will probally be a bigger Kobe fan because he wont be so perfect since Shaq is gone and he should play different,but I hope he goes to the Clippers just to shock the world,but on ESPN they said the BUlls were in the running at first to,but nobody really mentioned them,I bet Kobe wouldnt have mind playing for the Bulls.
I think it's the Lakers. They've done everything he's wanted them to do, and, if he goes the Clippers after all this, that'll be a total stab in the back the Lakers organization, and I really don't think he'll do that.
I hope he leaves, because then everybody stops talking about Lakers are going to win the NBA! Is it just me, or are the LAKERS now not a playoff team.
