Then he began to appreciate the compliment being given him as the main element in a trade for Shaquille O'Neal. So Odom picked his head up, looked forward and told his agent: "It'll be an honor to play for the Lakers." That's not all that was on Odom's mind. "He'd be excited to play for the Lakers," said Jeff Schwartz, Odom's agent, "if not more excited to play with Kobe (Bryant)."</div> Nice to see he wants to be here Odom happy to be a Laker
Always nice to know people want to play for you. I don't like players who typically don't want to play for you. They typically have a bad attitude about things and they can screw up chemistry and everything. They just change the overall complexion of the team and can send everything downhill.
cool Thats good atleast you know he will give it his all not like T-mac hating his team and not performing at his true potential.
Or maybe he's just happy because Miami doesn't have as much weed as L.A I wonder who'll go to jail first, Kobe or Odom? SHould be close.

I still see him as a selfish player to this day and my opinion hasn't changed about him since then.

Its cool Odom has a positive attitude about getting traded,Im sure he was upset at first because his career had a good future and promise in Miami.

I also am finding it to be interesting that Cook didn't give up his number. #7 has been Odom's number his entire career thus far. Now he has to go change it cause Cook didn't want to give it up. Oh well though. About the Francis thing, I remember that. He instantly demanded a trade cause he didn't want to play for them. Could be kicking himself now for that thought. Yea, I also believe he is a selfish player. But, who knows, maybe he'll change down in Orlando, even though it's very unlikely cause I'm betting he's going to be the focal point of that offense next season.

Maybe Odom perfers #5 ...If I remember correctly, #5 was his number at Rhode Island

But, it's a number, it really doesn't mean much. It's what he does production wise on the court that I'll care about, not the number on the back of his jersey.
Champs! what what are you smoking? maybe you should go out with Odom and smoke more of the funny grass. you would have to go though SA, Min, Denver, Sac, DAllas and Houston If you would have had Shaq and the Refs I would think maybe. but not with the team that you have now. It could change if you sign Dampier and Karl but i don't see that happening.
I actually saw Odom at a club Saturday night. He was with his "crew". I'm sure he remembers us(if he's reading this.LOL). My friend went up to him and said, "Glad you're a Laker. Bring us a Championship!" I see he's already enjoying the L.A nightlife once again. I bet that's the reason he's REALLY happy.
yes i'm sure he remembers you and your friends because one of them said 'glad you're a laker. bring us a championship'...because he didnt hear that about 50 times that night from other people that thought they were being original and creative like you and your friends...and miami nightlife is just as tite as LA nightlife if you know where to go...but a different feel and im sure odom does prefer the la feel... i still think you're a douche but which club was this at?
I seen his comments about being honored to play for the Lakers on Espn. Had no doubts that he wouldn't be happy. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Eclipse:</div><div class="quote_post">Who can ever forget Steve Francis's face when he was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies?....for most players, being drafted is the happiest moment of their life but not for Stevie. That is messed up, all that money he's going to be getting you would think he would at least apperciate it. VC still looked happy when he got traded to Toronto for Jamison.
