Regardless of the fact that McNabb didn't play on Monday. T.O. is gone, so all they have left is the running game. The only decent WR is Pinkston, and even he's not that good. State your opinion! With T.O. out they won't compete with AFC teams, who are obviously better.
I have to say that they definitely are overrated. The game against the Rams wasn't much of a game at all. The Rams are a terrible team...there is no way that they should have lost.
Did you watch that game? Our starters were in for one series, and the Rams only won 20-7? Westbrook didn't even play, and for christ sakes Jeff Blake was in. They treated it like a preaseason game. The Rams are horrible yes, because they only beat the Eagles 2nd and 3rd string team by 13 points at home
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BrianWestbrook)</div><div class='quotemain'>the Eagles 2nd and 3rd string team by 13 points at home</div> Only 45 players on Active Roster. I am sorry but you had to be be playing mostly 2nd string players cuz no team has a 3rd string. I watched part of game and the ran right over 1st string D on 1st series. The eagles still have a bye, and then a home playoff game vs a team with no more than 9 wins. I think they have a real good shot to make it to NFC title game, which they will lose. This is where i had them rated at beginning of season. The only problem is i cant select 2 answers, no they arent overrated and no they wont win SB
How can an NFL team be "overrated"? There are no rankings in the NFL, they play it out on the field....How you rate a team is your business and you are always right to YOU....Will the Eagles go to the Super Bowl? I don't think they will, but there has been no time all season that I thought they would, so nothing has changed in my eyes....
we definitely wouldve won if McNabb and Westbrook played. Mcnabb played n scored on the first drive, which was ironically our only score. Westbrook didnt even play at all, so they still have everything under control on offense. Koy Detmer sucks, he should be 3rd string, Jeff Blake should be 2nd.

Overall, it was a poor showing, you have to admit that. Whether it was the first or second string, it was a poor showing. The first drive by St. Louis was a joke...Philly started looking like the Vikings defense (for those of you that don't know, that's bad). I think Philly has already peaked earlier this season. Although they could still win the NFC because I don't see any real contenders in the NFC.

I cannot belive I flew to St Louis to watch Eagles Jayvee play. I dont think that playing one series was the right thing to do, but Andy Reid has earned my trust, so hopefully the players will not be rusty.
I think the Eagles should still make the superbowl....just cus the NFC is an abomination....but their worst nightmare is carolina winning this weekend because they probably are the best team in the NFC right now, but honestly I don't think any NFC team has a legit chance against San Diego,Indy,New England, or Pitt in the superbowl. Those 4 teams are by far the class of the NFL right now.
honestly, i think SD is the best of those 4 regardless of last weeks loss, but i think that the eagles have just as good a shot to beat em. kinda like what beef said, you play it out on the field. who called the dolphins beatin the pats? no one. i dont care what conferenece your in, someone always has a chance to beat you. I think that the Eagles(starting all their players) are the 3rd best team in the league, without TO, theyre probably around 6th/7th. with TO gone, it gives mitchell(the guy i think is the best besides TO) a chance to play. I would rather see Mitchell over Pinkston, and i am confused in why Reid wouldnt bench Pinkston earlier.

However, the 4 teams you mentioned as the class probably about 99% chance one of those 4 win it, and i have serious doubts about San Diego, and Pittsburgh

Though to come back from 1-7 is impressive no matter who you play.
