Its already been 4 years since Minnesota has had a first round pick so next will be the last year of their punishment. The first year the wolves will have a draft pick is in 2006.
Never going to happen. That trade is horrible for the Suns, and they know it. Not to mention the Wolves dont even have a first round pick next year. IMO, Voshkul and Olawakandi are on the same level as of right now, and Marion is much better than Szcerbiak. So itmakes no sense for the Suns.

The Suns no longer need all that athletism that Marion provides, now they needed someone who is going to stretch the defense with his automatic jumpshot. Wally & Nash's jumpshot in the lineup to gether would really open things up for Amare in the post and JJ & Q-Rich on the wings. And yes Jake Voshkal & Kandi was on the same level about last year, but thats because Kandi was injuried all last year basically. When Kandiman is healthy, he is clearly the better of the 2. And Kandi should be pretty healthy next year. I think this team benefits both teams, the wolves get someone who can slash a little more which the are in desperate need for, And they get more rebounding from the wing, which they didnt really have alot of last year. If Kandiman wants again becomes a halfway decent Center then the Wolves probably loss a little at the Center spot in this trade. But I think Voskuhl could still fit in pretty decent. And the things that Marion brings to the table the Wolves really need, so it makes up for the fact that the Suns with a healthy Kandi probably get the better of the 2 centers.
The Timberwolves are fine the way they are. No wonder they are the most quiet team in the off-season thus far. Kevin Garnett will enter his prime next season, if he already isn't, and he will improve his game drastically because I don't think he was at the top of his game last season even though he was marvelous. One little transaction and I think it's going to make them fall short of reaching the finals next season.
The trade makes no sense. Marion is better than Szerbiak and Voskuhl and Olowakandi are each on the same level for the most part. To top it off, the TWolves still have no first round pick. This trade really doesn't work. The Suns won't want Szerbiak over Marion. Marion is more complete than Szerbiak, he can shoot, rebound, everything. Wally is just a stand and shoot kinda guy. He's not great on defense and he's not even half the athlete Marion is. The trade makes no sense either way.

if i were the wolves i would accept immediatly. Now, if if i were the Suns in would think it over for a while. You get Wally but i think the deciding factor is the Draft picks its a hard decision if you ask me but i would not accept if i were The Suns. If they are willing to give up marion then they could get somethng a lot better.

Is this a rumor thats actually out there or just an idea? I'm all for it if the Wolves can pull it off. It benefits both teams, but the Twolves get the better package.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dj_premium_plus:</div><div class="quote_post">then how did they pick ebi last year?</div> They could have traded for a pick.

The Timberwolves were rewarded back their 2003 and 2005 1st round picks by the league. They used the 2003 pick to draft Ebi.
It isn't a rumor. It is a made up trade from the realgm website. A guys keeps throwing out the same trade package: Wally, Kandi and 1st pick for who ever from tons of different teams. This is indeed FAKE! Im Out
