This is no doubt one of the weakest divisions in the NBA, and you guys are now one of the favorites in the East (heck, even the NBA for that matter). The only competition is probably going to be the Wizards, and they dont have a center! The other teams (Atl, Orl, and Cha) are all rebuilding.
The Heat could easily come out on top of their division. Unless the Bobcats aquire a big name, franchise player, they are obviously out of the picture. It always takes a new team a few years to adjust anyhow. Orlando is rebuilding, but they have a pretty decent lineup. We'll have to wait and see how all of the new guys play together before we judge them. Will Dwight produce? How will Gooden respond to another PF? Too many unknowns for them.. The Wizards are looking pretty good, and in the east you can get away with being centerless. (Except now that Shaq is here, things might change a bit) Jamison should play well for them, and he'll be reunited with Arenas. But then you have the questions of Kwame Brown - when will he live up to his potential? As for the Hawks, well... It should be another long season.
Now that I think about it, Orlando doesnt have that bad of a team. pg- Steve Francis sg- Cuttino Mobley sf- Hedo Turkoglu pf- Drew Gooden c- Kelvin Cato Thats not that bad, but once again the big men are questionable. Shaq is going to tear up the East! Hopefully there are no injuries to you guys or you are screwed. You traded a lot of your depth! Do you guys have any money left for free agents? Your biggest weakness right now is PF. Is Udonis Haslem the starter?
hey dont count the magic out yet. we got a athletic run n' gun team, and cato is a good shaq defender. the heat might win it, but not in a landslide, also orlando may get dampier and jrich...look out!
It isn't that weak, but yes it isn't great because of Atlanta and Charlotte, but Miami, Washington and Orlando won't be bad.

I think the Heat now has a good chanse of making it far into the playoffs, either this year or the next
orlando have never had a sub standered team t-mac cough cough gooden but they finshed last in the nba its all about chemistry
