<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chungster:</div><div class="quote_post">Peterson is a valuable asset to the Raptors, despite being inconsistent. I hope he stays a Raptor.</div> Same, even though he frusterates me sometimes.
We would also have Roger Mason Jr coming off the bench. I doubt we will be able to keep Mo Pete but I sure do hope we do.
If he does get offers, we should sign and trade to charlotte for some draft picks but in all seriousness, we should keep him. He is an asset that will be missed(unless he is quickly replaced)
i agree with dj_premium_plus.. mo-pete will never be an all-star, but he's still a valuable asset and a great defender.. he is extremely streaky wen it comes to shooting.. but not resigning him or losing him for nothing would be a big mistake, especially with our bench as inconsistent and talent lacking as it is

If you think about it, Donyell Marshall and Alvin Williams are both going to come off the bench and they were starters last season, that's a huge upgrade from what we had before. The bench of Marshall, Mo-Pete and A-Dub will be awesome though.
in all honesty, we would have a very good team if every one plays to their potential. If mopete is consistent, alvin is healthy, and players like mason, murray, moiso and arujo play to their max of talent, and with bosh's development, oh..and if vince plays with heart, i believe we would have a heck of a team. we have a decently strong second unit. i am still hoping for another GM move though preferably a 5 because i dont want arujo starting

mo-pete signed an offer sheet with the hornets. doesn't tell how much. The raps have 15 days to match. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1841365

Peterson signed an offer sheet with the Hornets. 15mil for 3 years. He said he's looking forward to playing for the Hornets since the Raptor's showed no loyalty. The Raps have 15 days to match it....Do you think they will? or is Peterson done with the Raptors. Will make for an interesting Charity Game on July 30th for Vince & Peterson...
Yeah, Mo Pete is as good as gone, and I think he'll fit in well with the Hornets. That leaves a little more money open to go and sign some kind of center to atleast take pressure off Araujo.
Since MoPete seems to be gone, maybe Lamond Murray could fill the gap he will leave. I'm not counting on it, but it would certainly be a bonus if he could get back in shape.
wank! totally bummed about this. if we didnt have to pay useless lammond, we could have re-signed mo. despite his inconsistancies, id rather have him then murray. at least mo can defend. what a waste. GG continues to screw the team from beyond the grave.
